CLARIFICATION OF TERMS. In this Agreement, wherever the words "he", "her", or "him" appear, it shall be construed as meaning any employee, male or female. Wherever the words "employee" or "employees" appear, it shall mean any person or persons covered by this Agreement.

A. The term “teacher” refers to all personnel covered by this Agreement.
B. Non-renewal of contract shall be defined as a failure by the Board to issue a new contract to a teacher when the time specified in the teacher’s present contract expires and shall be pursuant to ORC 3319.11 and Section 15.02 or 15.03 of the Agreement herein below.

(a) “Full-time employee” is an employee who is scheduled to work forty (40) hours per week on a regular basis;
(b) “Part-time employee” is an employee who works less than full-time hours, but greater than fifteen (15) hours per week;
