Commercial Energy definition

Commercial Energy means the Energy Output delivered by the Seller to the Buyer during the Operating Period;
Commercial Energy means the Net Energy Output; as exported into the System which shall not exceed the Contracted Capacity in any hour or the maximum contract value of this Agreement over the Term of this Agreement being R [INSERT] – [INSERT] only (excluding VAT) (“Maximum Contract Value”). For the avoidance of doubt, Commercial Energy does not include Energy sold in terms of any other agreement;
Commercial Energy has the meaning given to it in the PPA; "Commercial Energy Payment" has the meaning given to it in the PPA;

More Definitions of Commercial Energy

Commercial Energy means the Net Energy Output delivered by the Seller to the Buyer less Energy relatable to the Own Generation Profile on or after the Commercial Operation Date provided that the Net Energy Output volume shall not exceed the Contracted Capacity;
Commercial Energy means the Net Energy Output (expressed in kWh) measured at the PUC and delivered by the Seller to the Delivery Point and purchased or to be purchased by the Buyer during the Operating Period;
Commercial Energy means the Net Energy Output; less Energy relatable to the Own Generation Profile which shall not exceed the Contracted Capacity or the maximum contract value of this Agreement over the Term of this Agreement whichever is the lesser being R [INSERT] – [INSERT] only (excluding VAT) (“Maximum Contract Value”). For the avoidance of doubt, Commercial Energy does not include, and the Buyer will not be liable for any payments attributable to any Energy that cannot be generated due to curtailment by the System Operator (or its agent), any network unavailability, interruption or constraint or any event of Force Majeure;

Related to Commercial Energy

  • Thermal energy means the thermal output produced by a combustion source used directly as part of a manufacturing process, industrial/commercial process, or heating/cooling application, but not used to produce electricity.

  • Annual Energy Use means, (i) with respect to the first year following the Effective Date, the annual electricity usage, expressed in kilowatt hours (“kWh”), within the Party’s respective jurisdiction and (ii) with respect to the period after the anniversary of the Effective Date, the annual electricity usage, expressed in kWh, of accounts within a Party’s respective jurisdiction that are served by the Authority; and

  • Useful thermal energy means, with regard to a cogeneration unit, thermal energy that is:

  • Geothermal energy means energy contained in heat that continuously flows outward from the earth that is used as the sole source of energy to produce electricity.

  • Hydroelectric energy means water used as the sole source of energy to produce electricity.
