Commercial Hauler definition

Commercial Hauler or “hauler” means any person who loads, collects, hauls, or transports commercial solid waste, that was generated by another person or its employees or subcontractors in the course of providing its principal service, or manufacturing, constructing or assembling its major product; by any means, including, but not limited to, a dumpster truck, a roll-off truck, a trailer, a side-load, front-load, or rear-load garbage truck.

Commercial Hauler means a person that is engaged in the business of hauling, transporting, moving, or land-applying food processing residuals as a contract agent for a farm operator, commercial broker, or food processing plant under the direction of the operator, broker, or processing plant.

  • In the event Franchisee believes that it has paid the Commercial Hauler Fee in excess of the amounts due to City, Franchisee shall submit a request for refund to City in a form and manner satisfactory to the City within six months of the payment being made.

  • Commercial Hauler Fees paid to City under this Agreement shall be in accordance with Exhibit C, or Exhibit C as modified by City in accordance with express provisions in this Agreement.

  • If it is determined that Franchisee did not fully and timely pay its Commercial Hauler Fee as determined by an audit of Franchisee’s records as specified in Section 29 of this Agreement, Franchisee shall pay the outstanding balance of the Commercial Hauler Fee due, a Late Payment Fee, and interest on the outstanding balance, including late fees, as set by Resolution of the City Council.

Commercial Hauler means any Person who owns, operates, or leases vehicles for the purpose of contracting for compensation with a Generator to collect and/or transport Mixed Municipal Solid Waste and other Solid Waste generated in the County.
