Commodity Definitions definition

Commodity Definitions means the 2005 ISDA Commodity Definitions, as published by the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc., without giving effect to any amendment, supplement, updating or restatement thereof after the Closing Date unless otherwise agreed to by the Borrower and the Posting Agent.
Commodity Definitions means the 2005 Commodity Definitions and the Annexes thereto as published by ISDA.

  • All terms used in this Part 6 that are not otherwise defined shall have the meanings given to them in the Commodity Definitions.

  • In this Addendum references to the 2006 ISDA Definitions and the 2005 ISDA Commodity Definitions are references to those publications as published by the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc.

  • The parties acknowledge that some Confirmations may describe some items by a term other than the defined term in this Addendum, the 2006 ISDA Definitions or the 2005 ISDA Commodity Definitions.

  • The term “contract for future delivery” is used interchangeably with “futures contract” in the 2005 ISDA Commodity Definitions (“ 2005 Definitions”) as well.

  • If the paired swap is uncleared, or if the clearing organization offers no substitute CRP value in the instance where the applicable price series is not defined in the ISDA Commodity Definitions, reporting entities shall then provide in the CRP data element field a description of the price source and heading that they are using to price the swap.

  • Disruption Fallbacks: The following Disruption Fallbacks, each as defined in Section 7.5 of the Commodity Definitions shall be applicable (in the following order): Maximum Days of Disruption: (i) Postponement (provided that, for the purposes of the Notes, the final sentence of such definition as set out in the Commodity Definitions shall be deemed to have been deleted); and (ii) Calculation Agent Determination.

  • In the event of any inconsistency between the 2006 ISDA Definitions or the 2005 ISDA Commodity Definitions (on the one hand) and the provisions of this Addendum (on the other) this Addendum will govern.

  • The definitions and provisions contained in the 2006 ISDA Definitions, the 2005 ISDA Commodity Definitions and in this Addendum are incorporated into each Confirmation.

Related to Commodity Definitions

  • Commodity Agreement means any commodity futures contract, commodity swap, commodity option or other similar agreement or arrangement designed to protect against fluctuations in the price of commodities or to otherwise manage commodity prices or the risk of fluctuations in commodity prices.

  • Commodity Hedging Agreement means any forward contract, swap, option, hedge or other similar financial agreement or arrangement designed to protect against fluctuations in commodity prices.

  • Commodity contract means a commodity futures contract, an option on a commodity futures contract, a commodity option, or another contract if the contract or option is:

  • Commodity Hedging Agreements means, in respect of a Person, any commodity purchase contract, commodity futures or forward contract, commodities option contract or other similar contract (including commodities derivative agreements or arrangements), to which such Person is a party or a beneficiary.

  • ISDA means the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc.

  • Commodity Agreements means, in respect of any Person, any forward contract, commodity swap agreement, commodity option agreement or other similar agreement or arrangement in respect of Hydrocarbons used, produced, processed or sold by such Person that are customary in the Oil and Gas Business and designed to protect such Person against fluctuation in Hydrocarbon prices.

  • Commodity option means an account, agreement, or contract giving a party to the account, agreement, or contract the right but not the obligation to purchase or sell one or more commodities or one or more commodity contracts, whether characterized as an option, privilege, indemnity, bid, offer, put, call, advance guaranty, decline guaranty or otherwise, but shall not include an option traded on a national securities exchange registered with the United States securities and exchange commission.

  • Hedging Disruption means that the Issuer is unable, after using commercially reasonable efforts, to (A) acquire, establish, re-establish, substitute, maintain, unwind or dispose of any transaction(s) or asset(s) it deems necessary to hedge the risk of issuing and performing its obligations with respect to the Securities, or (B) realise, recover or remit the proceeds of any such transaction(s) or asset(s).

  • Swap Transaction means the swap transaction with an effective date of 22 October 2015 entered into between the Issuer and the Counterparty pursuant to a 2002 ISDA Master Agreement and Schedule thereto (in the form of the Swap Schedule Terms Module, July 2015 Edition) dated as of 30 September 2015 and governed by English law (the “Master Agreement”) as supplemented by a swap transaction confirmation with an effective date of 22 October 2015, in the form set out in Annex 1 hereto as amended and/or restated from time to time (the “Swap Transaction Confirmation”).

  • Commodity customer means a person for which a commodity intermediary carries a commodity contract on its books.

  • Commodity Account is any “commodity account” as defined in the Code with such additions to such term as may hereafter be made.

  • Financial Futures Contract means the firm commitment to buy or sell fixed income securities including, without limitation, U.S. Treasury Bills, U.S. Treasury Notes, U.S. Treasury Bonds, domestic bank certificates of deposit, and Eurodollar certificates of deposit, during a specified month at an agreed upon price.

  • Hedging Disruption Event means any event which, in the Issuer’s reasonable opinion, would make it illegal or commercially unfeasible for the Issuer to continue to hedge its obligations in relation to the Bond.

  • ISDA Definitions means the 2006 ISDA Definitions published by the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc. or any successor thereto, as amended or supplemented from time to time, or any successor definitional booklet for interest rate derivatives published from time to time by the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc. or such successor thereto.

  • Asset Swap Transaction means each asset swap transaction entered into under a 1992 ISDA Master Agreement (Multicurrency-Cross Border) or 2002 ISDA Master Agreement (or such other ISDA pro forma master agreement as may be published by ISDA from time to time) (together with the schedule and confirmation relating thereto, including any guarantee thereof and any credit support annex entered into pursuant to the terms thereof, and each as amended or supplemented from time to time, an “Asset Swap Agreement”) entered into by the Issuer with an Asset Swap Counterparty in connection with a Non-Euro Obligation under which the Issuer swaps cash flows receivable on such Non-Euro Obligation for Euro-denominated cash flows from such Asset Swap Counterparty.

  • Swap means any agreement, contract, or transaction that constitutes a “swap” within the meaning of section 1a(47) of the Commodity Exchange Act.

  • Commodity Price Protection Agreement means, in respect of a Person, any forward contract, commodity swap agreement, commodity option agreement or other similar agreement or arrangement designed to protect such Person against fluctuations in commodity prices.

  • Currency Agreement means in respect of a Person any foreign exchange contract, currency swap agreement or other similar agreement designed to protect such Person against fluctuations in currency values.

  • Commodities Agreement means, in respect of a Person, any commodity futures contract, forward contract, option or similar agreement or arrangement (including derivative agreements or arrangements), as to which such Person is a party or beneficiary.

  • Currency Swap Agreement means any currency swap agreement, including all schedules and confirmations thereto, entered into by the Issuer and the Currency Swap Counterparty, as the same may be amended, supplemented, renewed, extended or replaced from time to time.

  • Futures Contract means a Financial Futures Contract and/or Stock Index Futures Contracts.

  • Commodity means any material, article, supply, goods, or equipment.
