Consent Items definition

Consent Items means those items on an agenda of a Standing Committee; Sub- Committee or Advisory Committee that may be approved by Committee without debate.

Consent Items means items placed in a section of the agenda that is used to adopt items with one motion as opposed to discussing and voting on each item individually. Consent items may be pulled from the list of Consent Items by any Member, for further discussion or debate;

Consent Items shall have the meaning set forth in Section 1.5.2.

Examples of Consent Items in a sentence

• Consent Items may be removed for further discussion by the Board at the request of any member of the Board.

• It is understood that the Administration recommends approval on all Consent Items.

• Prior to the motion to consider any action by the Committee, any public comments on any of the Consent Items will be heard.

• The following Consent Items are expected to be routine and non-controversial.

• Josh Palmer moved, seconded by Scott Moore, that the Board approve Consent Items 10.01 -10.29.

• Since Trustees receive Board agenda backup information in advance of scheduled meetings, they are prepared to vote with knowledge on the Consent Items.

• The following items are presented for Board of Trustees approval as Consent Items to be considered and voted upon collectively unless a Board of Trustees member requests separate consideration and/or action.
