Continuity of Government, or "COG," means a coordinated effort within the Federal Government's executive branch to ensure that National Essential Functions continue to be performed during a Catastrophic Emergency;

  • State Treasury updates its Continuity of Operations Plan (“COOP”) at least once per year and submits a copy of its COOP update to Homeland Security and Emergency Management (HSEM) to remain off-site and assist the State in the development of the State’s Continuity of Government Plan.
