Council of Unions means the Resource Development Trades Council of Newfoundland and Labrador comprised of trade unions as listed in Article 2 of this Agreement.

Examples of Council of Unions in a sentence

  • If this Contract involves services that fall under the current District and District Council of Unions (“DCU”) labor agreement (“Labor Agreement”), then Contractor shall pay to workers described below and employed under this Contract hourly compensation comparable to workers covered under the Labor Agreement.

  • Any Union, District Council, Council of Unions or Provincial Council of Unions duly chartered by the CANADIAN UNION OF PUBLIC EMPLOYEES, within the Province of Alberta, shall be eligible for membership in this Division.

  • Any module, or materials transported to the Site requiring specialized delivery equipment (i.e Mammoet heavy hauler) may be delivered from its point of disembarkation to its point of installation by personnel who are not members of the Council of Unions.

  • The Council of Unions and Association will appoint representatives to be members of the subcommittee.

  • However, during the early works and prior to the installation of a fuel depot, transporting of fuel and fuelling of vehicles and equipment on Site may be done by employees of a fuel supplier, but such employees shall become members of the Council of Unions and receive the wages and terms of employment in this Agreement.

  • Accordingly, given the importance of the Project to the people of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Association, its Contractor members, the Council of Unions and its Union members should each take affirmative steps to ensure productivity opportunities are maximized by all stakeholders including the Owner, Contractors, the Association, the Council of Unions and its Union members.

  • If the capacity of the batch plant(s) operation on Site cannot supply the required concrete in a timely fashion, or in the case of breakdown of the plant(s), or other circumstances outside the control of the Contractor, concrete deliveries may be made to points of installation on an as needed basis only, by personnel who may not be members of the Council of Unions.

  • Nodal Ministry means the Ministry or Department identified pursuant to this order in respect of a particular item of goods or services or works.

  • Rural community ’ means any city having a population of fewer than 50,000 or except as otherwise provided, any unincorporated area. Unincorporated areas within any county having a population of more than 100,000 are not eligible; and

  • British Council Entities means the subsidiary companies and other organisations Controlled by the British Council from time to time, and any organisation which Controls the British Council (the “Controlling Entity”) as well as any other organisations Controlled by the Controlling Entity from time to time;

  • Council Regulation means Council Regulation (EC) No. 2201/2003 of 27 November 2003 1 concerning jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in matrimonial matters and the matters of parental responsibility, repealing Regulation (EC) No. 1347/2000;

  • Public or private safety agency means a unit of state or local government, a special purpose district, or a private firm, which provides or has the authority to provide firefighting, police, ambulance, emergency medical services or hazardous materials response.

  • Governing Council means the Governing Council of the University;

  • Union harmonisation legislation means any Union legislation harmonising the conditions for the marketing of products;

  • Central Bank UCITS Regulations means the Central Bank (Supervision and Enforcement)

  • Ministry means the Ontario Ministry of the Environment;

  • National Ambient Air Quality Standards or “NAAQS” means national ambient air quality standards that are promulgated pursuant to Section 109 of the Act, 42 U.S.C. § 7409.

  • the Council Regulation means Council Regulation (E.C.) No. 2201/2003 of 27th November 2003 on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in matrimonial matters and matters of parental responsibility;

  • NOAA means National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration or successor thereto.

  • Regional economic integration organization means an organization constituted by sovereign States of a given region to which its member States have transferred competence in respect of matters governed by this Convention and which has been duly authorized, in accordance with its internal procedures, to sign, ratify, accept, approve or accede to this Convention;
