CPD year definition

CPD year means a period of 12 months during which a person is required to follow CPD courses.
CPD year means the year beginning on 1 April and ending on 31 March the following year;
CPD year means each twelve month period beginning on the date of registration, or renewal of registration of an intermediary, after the commencement of the Act;

Examples of CPD year in a sentence

  • A legal practitioner accrues 10 CPD points for a CPD year in which the practitioner successfully completes a specialist accreditation examination approved by the Law Society.

  • As courses are updated on an annual basis, courses completed in previous CPD years can be re-taken to count for CPD hours in a new CPD year provided 3 months have passed since the course was last completed.

  • The system’s risk-control features, which include caps on net debit positions and collateral to secure the use of overdraft credit, are sufficient to permit the system to obtain the necessary liquidity to settle in the event of the failure of the single LVTS participant having the largest possible net amount owing.
