Credit Event Redemption Amount definition

Credit Event Redemption Amount means the amount specified as such in the applicable Final Terms or if no such amount is specified in the applicable Final Terms, an amount calculated by the Calculation Agent equal to: (A x B) – C where:
Credit Event Redemption Amount means, in respect of each Security, an amount equal to the outstanding nominal amount of such Security minus the Cash Settlement Amount;

Examples of Credit Event Redemption Amount in a sentence

  • The Credit Event Redemption Amount may be less than the nominal amount of a Note.

  • The Issuer shall give not more than 30 nor less than 15 days' notice (or such other number of days as may be provided in the Applicable Supplement or agreed by the Trustee) to the Secured Creditors (which notice shall be irrevocable) of the date on which payment of the Credit Event Redemption Amount will be made to the Noteholders or delivery will be made to the Noteholders of the Reference Securities (as defined in the Applicable Supplement), as the case may be.

  • The Applicable Supplement shall specify the basis for calculation of the amount (the "Credit Event Redemption Amount") payable upon redemption of the Notes in accordance with this Condition 7(b)(iii) which shall be determined by the Determination Agent.

  • Where any Credit Event Redemption Amount is or would be zero then, other than for the payment of accrued interest or any other due but unpaid amounts, the Notes will be cancelled as of the Credit Event Redemption Date with no payment being due other than any final amount of accrued interest or any other due but unpaid amounts.

  • If the Bank has not received a Securityholder Physical Settlement Election Notice by 5.00 p.m., London time on the day which is the thirtieth calendar day following the Credit Event Notice Date, within five Business Days following the Valuation Date the Calculation Agent, acting on behalf of the Bank, will pay to the Securityholders (in accordance with the conditions of the Securities) the Credit Event Redemption Amount determined on the Valuation Date.
