customs officer means any person acting as such in terms of the Customs and Excise Act [Chapter 23:02];
application for international protection means a request made by a third country national or a stateless person for protection from a Member State, who can be understood to seek refugee status or subsidiary protection status, and who does not explicitly request another kind of protection, outside the scope of this Directive, that can be applied for separately;
customs law means all the statutory provisions applied by the customs administration on the importation, exportation, transit or movement of goods whether or not they involve the collection of duties or taxes (or security thereof), on the enforcement of prohibitions, restrictions or control or exchange control regulations or on any other customs regime;
customs duty means any customs or import duty and a charge of any kind, imposed in connection with the importation of a good, but does not include any:
customs control ’ means control in terms of this Act;
customs procedures means the treatment applied by the customs administration of each Party to goods which are subject to customs control.
District and high school graduation report means a report of the number of pupils, excluding adult education participants, in the district for the immediately preceding school year, adjusted for those pupils who have transferred into or out of the district or high school, who leave high school with a diploma or other credential of equal status.
customs authorities means customs authorities as defined in Article 5, point (1), of Regulation (EU) No 952/2013;
Self-Administration of Medication means the individual manages and takes his or her own medication, identifies his or her medication and the times and methods of administration, places the medication internally in or externally on his or her own body without staff assistance upon written order of a physician, and safely maintains the medication without supervision.
Customs authority means the authority that is responsible under the law of a Party for the administration and enforcement of customs laws and regulations; Customs duty includes any duty or charge of any kind imposed in connection with the importation of goods, but does not include any:
Administration of Medication means the act of placing a medication in or on an individual's body by a staff member who is responsible for the individual's care.
H.15(519) means the weekly statistical release designated as H.15(519), or any successor publication, published by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.
Supplementary Cardmember means a person who has been nominated by the Cardmember to be issued with an additional Card on the Account and is also covered by the insurance benefits included with the Card.

Issuing Office means such office as Issuing Lender shall designate as its Issuing Office.
Tandem Office Switch or “Tandem(s)” are used to connect and switch trunk circuits between and among other Central Office Switches. A Tandem Switch does not include a PBX.
contracting office means US Government contracting office. The term "Government" means Buyer except in subparagraph (c)(5). The term "Government" does not mean Buyer as it is used in the
Claims Administration means the processing of claims made under the Shared Policies, including, without limitation, the reporting of claims to the insurance carriers and the management of the defense of claims.
Medication administration means the direct application of medications by injection, inhalation, ingestion, or any other means to an individual receiving services by (i) persons legally permitted to administer medications or (ii) the individual at the direction and in the presence of persons legally permitted to administer medications.
