12 hour day worker means any worker engaged to work a rostered 12 hour day, on the basis of three days work and three days off, including weekends and Public Holidays.

Day Worker means a worker who works their ordinary hours from Monday to Friday inclusive and who commences work on such days at or after 6.00 am and before 10.00 am otherwise than as part of the shift system.
Shift Worker means a worker who is not a day worker as defined.
DAY WORK means on item of work requiring the employment of labour with or without materials as the case may be, which, in the opinion of the Senior Engineer /Civil-in-charge, is not capable of being evaluated by the accepted methods of measurement or assessment and is paid for on the basis of the actual labour and materials utilised on the particular item of work referred to.
Day works means varied work inputs subject to payment on a time basis for the Service Provider's employees and equipment, in addition to payments for associated materials and administration.
Normal weekly hours of work means the established standard work times and number of hours in the workweek for the position or, if standard work times and number of hours have not been established for the position, the work times and average number of hours per week actually worked by the employee in that position over the most recent 3 months before the employer files the application for designation as a participating employer.
