Any item of major plant employed upon day works that has a power rating lower than specified above shall be paid for at rates lower than those in the schedule of Day works.
Day works are varied work inputs subject to payment on a time basis for the Contractor’s employees and Equipment, in addition to payments for associated Materials and Plant.
Payment shall only be made for the time each of worker working on the Day works as instructed by the Engineer.
