Day treatment program definition

Day treatment program for children means a site-based structured mental health program consisting of psychotherapy for three or more individuals and individual or group skills training provided by a multidisciplinary team, under the clinical supervision of a mental health professional.

Day treatment program means a structured, comprehensive program designed to improve or maintain a person’s ability to function in the community, which includes, but is not limited to, nonresidential, partial hospitalization programs, and day hospital programs; and
