De minimis personal use means: personal use that is brief and infrequent, incurs negligible or no additional cost to the county and does not interfere with the conduct of county business.

Examples of De minimis personal use in a sentence

  • USE OF COUNTY VEHICLES:‌ No County, State, District, or other official or employee, who has access to, uses, or is assigned any County vehicle, shall use same for any personal use or purpose except for the following: • Commuting to and from work when required to do so for legitimate county business reasons by the responsible elected official; or, • "De minimis" personal use (such as a stop for lunch between business stops).
