As used in this act:11 (a) "DED-OESE" means the United States department12 of education office of elementary and secondary education.13 (b) "Department" means the Michigan department of education.14 (c) "District" means a local school district as defined in section15 6 of the revised school code, 1976 PA 451, MCL 380.6, or a local act16 school district or public school academy as defined in section 5 of the17 revised school code, 1976 PA 451, MCL 380.5.18 (d) "FTE" means full-time equated.19 Sec.
