Dental Specialist definition

Dental Specialist means any dental practitioner who is registered by the Dental Council under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 as a dental specialist in one of the approved branches of dentistry and who is employed in that branch of dentistry or in a similar capacity with minimal oversight.
Dental Specialist means a dentist who has been registered as a specialist in a speciality or subspeciality in dentistry in terms of the Regulations relating to the Specialities and Subspecialities in Medicine and Dentistry, published under Government Notice No. R. 590 of 29 June 2001;

Dental Specialist means a dentist who has received advanced training and certification in an ADA-recognized dental specialty and is licensed as a dental specialist by the Board.
