Departure Point definition

Departure Point means the station, airport, port, terminal or motor vehicle agency from where You are scheduled to board Your mode of transport or collect Your Rental Vehicle to commence Your travel.

  • If You must return to Your Home Province because of a covered Medical Condition and if You are travelling with a Travel Companion, We cover the Travel Companion for the extra cost of a one-way economy air fare on a commercial flight or charter via the most cost effective itinerary to return Your Travel Companion to his or her Departure Point.

  • If You are unable to drive Your Vehicle to Your original Departure Point due to an Emergency, We cover the reasonable costs to return Your Vehicle to Your residence.
