Direct Investment definition

Direct Investment means a direct investment as defined by the International Monetary Fund under its Balance of Payments manual, fifth edition (BMP 5), as amended;
Direct Investment means investment made to acquire a lasting interest in an enterprise operating in the economy of Ghana and intended to give the investor an effective control in the management of the enterprise;
Direct Investment means capital investment in an enterprise, either directly or through a holding company, for the purpose of acquiring a long-term interest and significant control over the management of that enterprise.
