Discarded Motor Vehicle definition

Discarded Motor Vehicle means a vehicle which is unlicensed and/or a vehicle which is in disrepair, has missing parts, including tires, or damaged or missing glass, or deteriorated or removed metal adjunctions which make its normal use impossible, other than a vehicle in good repair being offered for sale or rental and such use has been issued a Certificate of Occupancy for the “Sale or Rental of Motor Vehicles. Discarded Motor Vehicle means a vehicle which is unlicensed, and which is in disrepair, having missing parts, including tires, or damaged or missing glass or deteriorated or removed parts which prevent its mechanical function;

Discarded Motor Vehicle. Means a motor vehicle placed upon public, or private property without the permission or knowledge of the owner of said property and a motor vehicle the ownership of which the real estate owner is unaware.

  • Motor vehicle means land vehicles propelled other than by muscular power, such as automobiles, motorcycles, autocycles, and low speed vehicles. For the purposes of this definition, motor vehicle does not include farm equipment, snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles, motorized wheelchairs, go-carts, gas buggies, golf carts, ski-slope grooming machines, or vehicles that run only on rails or tracks.

  • Motor vehicle surface means any pervious or impervious surface that is intended to be used by “motor vehicles” and/or aircraft, and is directly exposed to precipitation including, but not limited to, driveways, parking areas, parking garages, roads, racetracks, and runways.

  • Transfer Vehicle means any vehicle that operates in space and transfers Payloads or persons or both between two different space objects, between two different locations on the same space object, or between a space object and the surface of a celestial body. A Transfer Vehicle also includes a vehicle that departs from and returns to the same location on a space object.

  • Motor vehicle manufacturer means a person that:

  • Motor vehicle fuel means any petroleum distillate having a Reid vapor pressure of more than four (4) pounds per square inch and that is used to power motor vehicles. Diesel fuel and kerosene are not considered to be motor vehicle fuels.

  • Motor Vehicles means motor vehicles, tractors, trailers and other like property, whether or not the title thereto is governed by a certificate of title or ownership.

A commercial motor vehicle transporting an empty storage container tank not designed for transportation with a rated capacity of one thousand gallons or more that is temporarily attached to a flatbed trailer is not considered a tank vehicle.

  • Junk vehicle means a vehicle of any age that is damaged or defective in any one or combination of any of the following ways that either makes the vehicle immediately inoperable, or would prohibit the vehicle from being operated in a reasonably safe manner upon the public streets and highways under its own power if self-propelled, or while being towed or pushed, if not self-propelled:

  • Transport vehicle means a motor vehicle or rail car used for the transportation of cargo by any mode. Each cargo-carrying body (trailer, railroad freight car, etc.) is a separate transport vehicle.

  • Unladen vehicle means a vehicle without a driver, or passenger, and unladen, but with its fuel tank full and its normal complement of tools;
