Disposal Trench definition

Disposal Trench means "absorption trench."
Disposal Trench means an individual subsurface sewage disposal system component of a covered excavation made within soil or fill material to contain filter material in which a single distribution lateral has been placed for the disposal of septic tank effluent.
Disposal Trench. - means a ditch or trench with vertical sides and substantially flat bottom with filter material or Department approved chamber units into which a gravity flow or pressure dosed single distribution pipe has been placed, the trench then being backfilled or covered with soil or other approved material.

Disposal Trench means a ditch or a trench installed into natural soil, permeable saprolite or diggable bedrock, with vertical sides and substantially flat bottom with a minimum of twelve (12) inches of clean, coarse, drain media or other material approved by this chapter, into which a single distribution pipe has been laid, the trench then being backfilled with a minimum of six (6) inches of soil.
Disposal Trench means a ditch or trench with vertical sides and substantially level bottom de- signed to receive sewage effluent.
