DISQUALIFYING DRUG OFFENSE definition

DISQUALIFYING DRUG OFFENSE means a conviction for a violation of a state or federal controlled substance law that is a crime punishable by imprisonment for one year or more. It does not include an offense for which the sentence, including any term of probation, incarceration orsupervised release, was completed ten (10) or more years earlier or an offense that consisted of conduct that would have been permitted under this ordinance.
DISQUALIFYING DRUG OFFENSE means a criminal conviction for a violation of a state or federal controlled substance law that is a crime punishable by imprisonment for one year or more that prevents the issuance of a registry identification card. “Disqualifying drug offense” does not include:

  • Disqualifying offense means a conviction directly related to the duties and responsibilities of the profession. A conviction is directly related to the duties and responsibilities of the profession if either

  • Sex offense means an offense defined as a sex offense in RCW 9.94A.030;

  • Disqualifying Event has the meaning specified in the definition of Eligible Currency.

  • Covered drug means any prescription drug that:

  • Drug abuse means any pattern of pathological use of drugs that causes impairment in social or occupational functioning, or that produces physiological dependency evidenced by physical tolerance or by physical symptoms when it is withdrawn.

  • Serious offense means any of the following felonies or a felony attempt to commit any of the following felonies, as now existing or hereafter amended:

  • Public health emergency means an emergency with respect to COVID–19 declared by a Federal, State, or local authority.

  • Narcotic drug means any of the following, whether produced directly or indirectly by extraction from substances of vegetable origin, or independently by means of chemical synthesis, or by a combination of extraction and chemical synthesis:

  • inherited metabolic disease means a disease caused by an inherited abnormality of body chemistry for which testing is mandated by law;

  • Drug addiction means a disease characterized by a

  • Criminal drug statute means a Federal or non-Federal criminal statute involving the manufacture, distribution, dispensing, possession or use of any controlled substance.

  • Market Abuse Regulation means Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014, as amended or replaced from time to time;

  • Serious health condition means an illness, injury, impairment, or physical or mental condition that involves:

  • Inherited Metabolic Disorder means a disease caused by an inherited abnormality of body chemistry that meets all of the following requirements:

  • Adult abuse means the willful infliction of physical pain, injury or mental anguish or unreasonable

  • Dangerous drug means any of the following:

  • Disqualifying Disposition means any disposition (including any sale) of Stock acquired upon the exercise of an Incentive Stock Option made within the period that ends either (1) two years after the date on which the Participant was granted the Incentive Stock Option or (2) one year after the date upon which the Participant acquired the Stock.

  • Criminal sexual activity means the commission of an act as defined in Section 886 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes, which is the act of sodomy; and

  • Disqualified Person has the meaning assigned to such term in Section 9.05(f)(ii).

  • Adverse drug reaction means any undesirable or unexpected medication related event that requires discontinuing a medication or modifying the dose, requires or prolongs hospitalization, results in disability, requires supportive treatment, is life-threatening or results in death, results in congenital anomalies, or occurs following vaccination.

  • Licensed clinical social worker means an individual who meets the licensed clinical social worker requirements established in KRS 335.100.

  • Infectious Disease means an illness that is capable of being spread from one individual to another.

  • Chemical dependency means the physiological and psychological addiction to a controlled drug or substance, or to alcohol. Dependence upon tobacco, nicotine, caffeine or eating disorders are not included in this definition.

  • Participating Clinical Laboratory means a Clinical Laboratory which has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Public safety employee means a public employee who is employed as one of the following:

  • Offense means a felony, gross misdemeanor, or crime of moral turpitude.
