Distance learning means the technology and educational process used to provide instruction to a student when the student and the instructor are not necessarily physically present at the same time or place. The term includes, but is not limited to, instruction provided through an interactive classroom, computer conferencing, or an interactive computer system.
Distance education means education imparted by combination of any two or more means of communication, viz. broadcasting, telecasting, correspondence courses, seminars, contact programmes and any other such methodology;
Contactless means a payment feature that provides You with a way to pay by tapping the Card on a point–of–sale terminal reader for transactions of up to a specified limit.
Distance means the great circle distance between the aerodrome of departure and the aerodrome of arrival plus an additional fixed factor of 95 km; and
distance contract means a contract concluded between a trader and a consumer under an organised distance sales or service-provision scheme without the simultaneous physical presence of the trader and the consumer, with the exclusive use of one or more means of distance communication up to and including the time at which the contract is concluded;
distance education system means the system of imparting education through any means of communication, such as broadcasting, telecasting, correspondence courses, seminars, contact programmes or the combination of any two or more such means;
travel distance means the distance an occupant has to travel to reach an exit.
Skilled and trained workforce means a workforce that meets all of the following conditions:
Stormwater management planning area means the geographic area for which a stormwater management planning agency is authorized to prepare stormwater management plans, or a specific portion of that area identified in a stormwater management plan prepared by that agency.
Sailboat means the same as that term is defined in Section 73-18-2.
SAP Training Catalogue means the catalogue published by SAP containing details of SAP training courses and services.
Field-flattening filter means a filter used to homogenize the absorbed dose rate over the radiation field.
Health professional shortage area means that term as defined in section 332(a)(1) of subpart II of part C of title III of the public health service act, chapter 373, 90 Stat. 2270, 42 U.S.C. 254e.
air traffic control service means a service provided for the purpose of:
Seaplane means an aeroplane capable normally of taking off from and alighting solely on water;
Blended learning means the delivery of instruction in a combination of time in a supervised physical location away from home and online delivery whereby the student has some element of control over time, place, path, or pace of learning.
Technical college means the same as that term is defined in Section 53B-1-101.5.
Functional behavioral assessment means an individualized assessment of the student that results in a team hypothesis about the function of a student’s behavior and, as appropriate, recommendations for a behavior intervention plan.
Source-image receptor distance means the distance from the source to the center of the input surface of the image receptor.
Catalogue means the catalogue of IT Products available for Order under the provisions of the Framework Agreement.
manoeuvring area means that part of an aerodrome to be used for the take-off, landing and taxiing of aircraft, excluding aprons;
LTE means Long Term Evolution, which is a standard for wireless communication of high-speed data for mobile phones and data terminals.
Tool means the tool developed in accordance with Section 35A-15-303.
Data Universal Number System (DUNS) Number means the 9-digit number assigned by Dun and Bradstreet, Inc. (D&B) to identify unique business entities.
small and medium-sized enterprises or ‘SMEs’ means micro, small and medium-sized enterprises as defined in Article 2 of the Annex to Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC;
District and high school graduation rate means the annual completion and pupil dropout rate that is calculated by the center pursuant to nationally recognized standards.
