Distributed Generation Customer definition

Distributed Generation Customer means a person other than a public utility that interconnects an eligible distributed generation facility to an electric distribution system.

  • EDTI will treat this information as confidential and will not release such information to any other parties without the express and written consent of the Distributed Generation Customer.

  • The Generation Customer shall be responsible for any destruction of or damage to EDTI’s Facilities where the destruction or damage is caused by a negligent act or omission or wilful misconduct of the Distributed Generation Customer, its directors, officers, agents, employees and representatives or anyone permitted by the Customer to be on the premises.

  • On a monthly basis, the Distributed Generation Customer shall be billed charges applicable under the currently effective standard rate Schedule and any appropriate Rider Schedules.

  • Each Distributed Generation Customer shall pay the full retail rate for all energy purchased from the Company, shall pay a zero rate for all energy self-generated and consumed by the Customer and shall be credited at avoided costs for the energy sold back to the Company.

  • For the final month in which the Distributed Generation Customer takes service, the Company shall issue a check to the Distributed Generation Customer for the remaining balance of any kWh credit due in excess of amounts owed by the Customer to the Company.

  • Where the electricity generated by the Distributed Generation Customer exceeds the electricity supplied by the Company during the month, the Customer shall be credited at the avoided cost rate on its monthly bill, during the next billing period, for the monetary value of the excess kWhs generated and exported to the Company.

Related to Distributed Generation Customer

  • Distributed Generation means generating plant equipment collectively used for generating electricity that is connected, or proposed to be connected, to the Network or a Customer's Installation, but does not include:

  • Distributed Generator means a person who owns or operates Distributed Generation;

  • Distributed generation facility means a facility owned and operated by a member of the Cooperative for the production of electrical energy that:

  • Generation Interconnection Customer means an entity that submits an Interconnection Request to interconnect a new generation facility or to increase the capacity of an existing generation facility interconnected with the Transmission System in the PJM Region.

  • Surplus Interconnection Customer means either an Interconnection Customer whose Generating Facility is already interconnected to the PJM Transmission System or one of its affiliates, or an unaffiliated entity that submits a Surplus Interconnection Request to utilize Surplus Interconnection Service within the Transmission System in the PJM Region. A Surplus Interconnection Customer is not a New Service Customer.

  • Interconnection Customer means a Generation Interconnection Customer and/or a Transmission Interconnection Customer.

  • Generation Interconnection Feasibility Study means a study conducted by the Transmission Provider (in coordination with the affected Transmission Owner(s)) in accordance with Tariff, Part IV, section 36.

  • Base Load Generation Resource means a Generation Capacity Resource that operates at least 90 percent of the hours that it is available to operate, as determined by the Office of the Interconnection in accordance with the PJM Manuals.

  • DMA Customer means a Customer of a Sponsoring Broker where representatives of the Customer that are natural persons are designated by the Sponsoring Broker to have Trading Access to the SEF Platform using the Participant ID of the Sponsoring Broker and where such Customer signs the DMA Customer Documentation.

  • Generation Interconnection Facilities Study means a Facilities Study related to a Generation Interconnection Request.
