Dually enrolled definition

Dually enrolled means the status of a student who receives competent private instruction under Iowa Code chapter 299A and whose parent, guardian, or legal custodian has registered the student pursuant to Iowa Code section 299A.8 in a school district for any of the purposes listed therein, including, for purposes of these rules, participation in any part of the senior year plus program on the same basis as public school students.

Examples of Dually enrolled in a sentence

• Dually enrolled classes do not count toward the high school diploma.

• Dually enrolled secondary students with disabilities at Gadsden Technical Institute shall be provided exceptional student educational services and services required under Section 504 in coordination with the District Exceptional Student Education Office at their home schools.

• Dually enrolled students also must be exempted from the payment of tuition and fees.

• Dually enrolled is defined as a child/youth who is involved with the child welfare system and juvenile justice systems where the child welfare issues are the prevailing condition.

• Dually enrolled and non-dually enrolled high school students may be concurrently taught in the same course.

• Dually enrolled students in need of accommodations for disabilities must follow the College policy and should contact the College ADA Coordinator.

• Dually enrolled students also are eligible for the Part-time Grant.

• Dually enrolled participants are defined as those participants who are provided services specifically under this agreement who are enrolled in both ICAN and Reach Up at the same time.

• Dually enrolled students are required to pay the University Health Center fee.

• Dually enrolled students registering for college-level English or math courses must be placed into courses using the current ACCA approved placement guidelines.
