Duplicate Encounter means multiple encounters where all fields are alike except for the ProviderOne Transaction Control Numbers (TCNs) and the Contractors Claim Submitter’s Identifier or Transaction Reference Number.

  • Encounter means a record of a medically-related service rendered by an AHCCCS-registered provider to a member enrolled with a contractor on the date of service.
