Non-Cooperative Jurisdiction means any foreign country that has been designated as noncooperative with international anti-money laundering principles or procedures by an intergovernmental group or organization, such as the Financial Task Force on Money Laundering, of which the U.S. is a member and with which designation the U.S. representative to the group or organization continues to concur;
Execution Venue means the entity with which client orders, assets or securities are placed and/or to which the Company transmits Client’s orders for execution.
Pertinent Jurisdiction in relation to a company, means:
Base jurisdiction means the member jurisdiction, selected in accordance with the plan, to which an applicant applies for apportioned registration under the plan or the member jurisdiction that issues apportioned registration to a registrant under the plan.
The judge means the judge or the substitute judge of the juvenile and domestic relations district
Home jurisdiction means the jurisdiction that issued the driver's license of the traffic violator.
Process or “Processing” means any operation or set of operations which is performed upon the Personal Data, whether or not by automatic means, such as collection, recording, organization, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, blocking, erasure, or destruction.
the Tribunal means the Upper Tribunal (Tax and Chancery Chamber).
Actions or Proceedings means any action, suit, proceeding, arbitration or Governmental or Regulatory Authority investigation or audit.
The End-User means the authorized user of the equipment/the Medical Superintendent/Head of the Department of the concerned specialty.
THE LESSEE or any other Person includes without prejudice to the provisions of this Agreement any successor in title to it and any permitted assignee;
Alternative Judgment means a form of final judgment that may be entered by the Court but in a form other than the form of Judgment provided for in this Stipulation and where none of the Parties hereto elects to terminate this Settlement by reason of such variance.
legal practitioner means an advocate, vakil or an attorney of any High Court, and includes a pleader in practice.
civil proceedings means any proceedings in or before any court or tribunal that are not criminal proceedings;
The Lessor Agent" for "the Lessee", "Unit Premises, Unit Improvements, Unit FF&E and Unit" for "Parcel of Property" and "Section 13" for "Section 28".
the other party means, with respect to the Company, Parent and means, with respect to Parent, the Company.
Other Party shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.9(a).
Restorative justice means practices, policies, and programs informed by and sensitive to the needs of crime vic- tims that are designed to encourage offenders to accept responsibility for repairing the harm caused by their offense by providing safe and supportive opportunities for voluntary participation and communication between the victim, the offender, their families, and relevant community members;
The Service means any object of procurement other than works and goods.
Defendant or “Defendants” means any or all of the Defendants named in the Action, now or in the future.
the Operator means a person holding a Licence to operate Private Hire Vehicles issued pursuant to Section 55 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976.
the District means the District of Mackenzie
Venue means the premises as delineated and shown edged red in Annex A.
Complaint Investigation means an investigation of any complaint that has been made to a proper authority that is not covered by an abuse investigation.
The Manager , in relation to an HMO, means the person managing the HMO.
Summons means the call for a Bondholders’ Meeting or a Written Resolution as the case may be.
