  • Economically disadvantaged means a pupil who has been determined eligible for free or reduced-price meals as determined under the Richard B. Russell national school lunch act, 42 USC 1751 to 1769j; who is in a household receiving supplemental nutrition assistance program or temporary assistance for needy families assistance; or who is homeless, migrant, or in foster care, as reported to the center.

  • Technically Feasible refers solely to technical or operational concerns, rather than economic, space, or site considerations.

RIPTA may also determine, on a case-by-case basis, that individuals who are not a member of one of the following groups are socially and economically disadvantaged:

  • Medically Appropriate means services and medical supplies required for prevention, diagnosis, or treatment of a physical or behavioral health condition or injuries that are:

  • Compound of Concern means a contaminant that, based on generally available information, may be emitted to the atmosphere in a quantity from any source at the Facility that is significant either in comparison to the relevant Ministry Point of Impingement Limit or if a Ministry Point of Impingement Limit is not available for the compound then, based on generally available toxicological information, the compound has the potential to cause an adverse effect as defined by the EPA at a Point of Impingement.
