boycott energy company means “without an ordinary business purpose, refusing to deal with, terminating business activities with, or otherwise taking any action intended to penalize, inflict economic harm on, or limit commercial relations with a company because the company (a) engages in the exploration, production, utilization, transportation, sale, or manufacturing of fossil fuel-based energy and does not commit or pledge to meet environmental standards beyond applicable federal and state law, or (b) does business with a company described by paragraph (a).” (See Tex. Gov. Code 809.001). When applicable, does Vendor certify? Yes 5 Felony Conviction Notice - Texas Education Code 44.034 9 Texas Education Code, Section 44.034, Notification of Criminal History, Subsection (a), states, "a person or business entity that enters into a contract with a school district must give advance notice to the district if the person or an owner or operator of the business entity has been convicted of a felony. The notice must include a general description of the conduct resulting in the conviction of a felony.” Subsection (b) states, "a school district may terminate a contract with a person or business entity if the district determines that the person or business entity failed to give notice as required by Subsection (a) or misrepresented the conduct resulting in the conviction. LLC means Limited Liability Company.
Clean energy means energy produced from Renewable Energy Resources (as defined below), eligible energy sources, and by means of advanced technologies that cost- effectively capture and sequester carbon emissions produced as a by-product of power generation. For purposes of this definition, “cost” means all those costs as determined by the Public Utilities Commission of the State of Colorado (“PUC”).

renewable energy sources means renewable sources such as small hydro, wind, solar including its integration with combined cycle, biomass, bio fuel cogeneration, urban or municipal waste and other such sources as approved by the MNRE;
Renewable Energy Source means an energy source that is not fossil carbon-based, non- renewable or radioactive, and may include solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, landfill gas, or wave, tidal and thermal ocean technologies, and includes a Certified Renewable Energy Source.
Keystone means Keystone Underwriting Pty Ltd ABN 78 601 944 763 as Corporate Authorised Representative (No. 000468712) of Keystone Underwriting Australia Pty Ltd ABN 59 634 715 674 AFSL 518224 which is acting on behalf of Underwriters.
Renewable energy means the grid quality electricity generated from renewable energy sources;
Shoreland means land, as defined in Minn. Stat. § 103F.205, subd. 4, located within 1,000 feet from the normal high water mark of a lake, pond, or flowage and 300 feet of a river or stream or the landward side of floodplain delineated by ordinance on such a river or stream, whichever is greater.
Renewable energy resources means energy derived from solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, and hydroelectricity. A fuel cell using hydrogen derived from these eligible resources is also an eligible electric generation technology. Fossil and nuclear fuels and their derivatives are not eligible resources.
Terrace means a relatively level step constructed in the face of a graded slope surface for drainage and maintenance purposes.
Solar renewable energy certificate or "SREC" means a
Renewable Energy Credit has the meaning set forth in California Public Utilities Code Section 399.12(h) and CPUC Decision 00-00-000, as may be amended from time to time or as further defined or supplemented by Law.
Renewable Energy Certificates or “RECs” shall mean all of the Certificates and any and all other Environmental Attributes associated with the Products or otherwise produced by the Facility which satisfy the RPS for a RPS Class I Renewable Generation Unit, and shall represent title to and claim over all Environmental Attributes associated with the specified MWh of generation from such RPS Class I Renewable Generation Unit.
Corporation/ Corpn./ Department means the Central Warehousing Corporation.
Loop or "Unbundled Loop" shall have the meaning set forth in Section 9.2.1.
Crossing means a utility facility constructed over, under, or across a railroad right-of-way. The term does not include longitudinal occupancy of railroad right-of-way.
Gas company means any person distributing gas within the corporate limits or authorized and proposing to so engage.
Energy means electricity, natural gas, steam, hot or chilled water, fuel oil, or other product for use in a building, or renewable on-site electricity generation, for purposes of providing heating, cooling, lighting, water heating, or for powering or fueling other end-uses in the building and related facilities, as reflected in Utility bills or other documentation of actual Energy use.
Renewable energy resource means a resource that naturally replenishes over a human, not a geological, time frame and that is ultimately derived from solar power, water power, or wind power. Renewable energy resource does not include petroleum, nuclear, natural gas, or coal. A renewable energy resource comes from the sun or from thermal inertia of the earth and minimizes the output of toxic material in the conversion of the energy and includes, but is not limited to, all of the following:
Graywater means untreated wastewater that has not been contaminated by any toilet discharge, has not been affected by infectious, contaminated, or unhealthy bodily wastes, and does not present a threat from contamination by unhealthful processing, manufacturing, or operating wastes. "Graywater" includes, but is not limited to, wastewater from bathtubs, showers, bathroom washbasins, clothes washing machines, and laundry tubs, but does not include wastewater from kitchen sinks or dishwashers. Health and Safety Code Section 17922.12.
cogeneration means the simultaneous generation in one process of thermal energy and electrical or mechanical energy;
Annual Energy Use means, (i) with respect to the first 5 years following the Effective Date, the annual electricity usage, expressed in kilowatt hours (“kWhs”), within the Party’s respective jurisdiction and (ii) with respect to the period after the fifth anniversary of the Effective Date, the annual electricity usage, expressed in kWhs, of accounts within a Party’s respective jurisdiction that are served by the Authority and (b) “Total Annual Energy” means the sum of all Parties’ Annual Energy Use. The initial values for Annual Energy use are designated in Exhibit C, and shall be adjusted annually as soon as reasonably practicable after January 1, but no later than March 1 of each year
