Emergency shelter care definition

Emergency shelter care means 24 hour care provided in a residential child-care facility for a period not to exceed 90 days, in accordance with 10A NCAC 70J .0200.
Emergency shelter care means the provision of a protective environment for a child who must be immediately removed, pursuant to Welfare and Institutions Code Section 300, from his/her own home or current foster care placement, and who cannot be immediately returned to his/her own home or foster care placement.
Emergency shelter care means shelter care when a child has been removed from the home or placement by a local department in accordance with Code, Courts Article, §3-815.
