Hour Care hour care shift is where an employee is required to be available for duty at a client’s residence for a 24 hour period. During this period the employee is required to provide the client with the services specified in the care plan. The employee is required to provide a total of no more than 8 hours of care during this period. For the purposes of this section the client’s residence can be a residence that is made available to the client by Anglicare WA or some other body for a period of time. The employee will normally have the opportunity to sleep during a 24 hour care shift and a bed in a private room will be provided to the employee for these purposes. The employee engaged will be paid for 8 hours work at 155% of their appropriate rate for each 24 hour period. This rate will be in substitution for and not cumulative upon weekend or public holiday penalties. Employees providing 24 hour care under this clause are not entitled to payment of a sleepover allowance.

Hour Care. 25.11.1. Where the employee is engaged for a 24 hour shift, the employee shall be paid in accordance with the wage rates in Schedule 1. 25.11.2. A 24 hour care shift requires the employee to be available for duty in a client’s home, or where negotiated in the employee’s home, for a 24 hour period. During this period, the employee is required to provide the client with the services specified in the client’s Care Plan. 25.11.3. The employee is required to provide no more than ten hours of care. 25.11.4. The employee will normally have the opportunity to sleep during a 24 hour care shift and where appropriate, a bed in a private room will be provided for the employee. 25.11.5. In approving a 24 hour care shift, UCCO will take into account whether there is adequate provision for meals and/or cooking facilities.

(c) If an employee is required to provide more than a total of eight (8) hours of care, all time worked in excess of eight (8) hours shall be paid at the applicable overtime rate. (d) In the event that all or some of the meals of breakfast, lunch and dinner are not provided for an employee engaged in 24-hour care, Xxxxxxxxxx shall reimburse such reasonable amounts for same, upon proof of expenditure. Reasonable amounts will be determined based upon the ATO reasonable expenditure rates for food and drink. (e) The employee will have the opportunity to sleep during a 24-hour care shift and, a bed in a private room will be provided for the employee, where available and use of facilities.

  • Health Care The Company will reimburse the Executive for the cost of maintaining continuing health coverage under COBRA for a period of no more than 12 months following the date of termination, less the amount the Executive is expected to pay as a regular employee premium for such coverage.   • Medical Care The Parents must comply with the School Welfare Officer's recommendations which may include a reasonable decision to release the Pupil home or to his / her education guardian when s/he is unwell.

  • Customer Care a) Contractor shall comply with the applicable requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act and provide culturally competent customer service to all Covered California Enrollees in accordance with the applicable provisions of 45 C.F.R. § 155.205 and § 155.210, which refer to consumer assistance tools and the provision of culturally and linguistically appropriate information and related products. b) Contractor shall comply with HIPAA rules and other laws, rules and regulations respecting privacy and security.

  • Hospice Care If you have a terminal illness and you agree with your physician not to continue with a curative treatment program, this plan covers hospice care services received in your home, in a skilled nursing facility, or in an inpatient facility.

  • Dental Care a. Dental Care for Members over age 19 is limited to the following: i. care and stabilization treatment rendered within 62 days of an Accidental Dental Injury provided such services are for the treatment of damage to Sound Natural Teeth; ii. extraction of teeth required prior to radiation therapy when you have a diagnosis of cancer of the head or neck. b. General anesthesia and hospitalization services are covered when required to assure the safe delivery of necessary dental treatment or surgery for a dental Condition which, if left untreated, is likely to result in a medical Condition if: i. a Member has one or more medical Conditions that would create significant or undue medical risk for the Member in the course of delivery of any necessary dental treatment or surgery if not rendered in a Hospital or Ambulatory Surgery Center; or ii. a Covered Dependent child is under eight years of age and it is determined by a licensed dentist and the Covered Dependent’s Attending Physician that dental treatment or surgery in a Hospital or Ambulatory Surgery Center is necessary due to a significantly complex dental Condition, or a developmental disability in which patient management in the dental office has proven to be ineffective.
