Endowed Position definition

Endowed Position means a bargaining unit position that is funded by external (i.e. non-University) sources, and is generally governed by a separate agreement between a donor and the academic unit that sets the terms of the position. The position is for a fixed duration not to exceed five (5) years. The Employee selected for the Endowed Position will be appointed in a XXX title and may carry an honorific title that may be used as a working title.
