Environmental Goals definition

Environmental Goals means achieving an outcome or changing behavior, including but not limited to changing information disclosure practices, related to any aspect of environmental policy goals. This definition includes goals that seek net zero greenhouse gas emissions standards or disclosures, compliance with the Paris Agreement (a.k.a. Paris Climate Agreement or Paris Climate Accords) or any agreement made at COP 26, or the imposition of a carbon tax.
Environmental Goals means the environmental goals referred to in condition 2 (Objects of this licence);
Environmental Goals means achieving an outcome or changing behavior, including but not limited to changing information disclosure practices, related to any aspect of the environment or environmental policy. This definition includes but is not limited to goals that seek net zero greenhouse gas emissions standards or disclosures, compliance with the Paris Agreement (a.k.a. Paris Climate Agreement or Paris Climate Accords) or any agreement made at COP 26, the imposition of a carbon tax, and/or adoption of electric vehicles, or renewable energy, including wind and solar power.

Related to Environmental Goals

  • Environmental Problem Property A Mortgaged Property or REO Property that is in violation of any environmental law, rule or regulation.

  • Environmental and Safety Requirements means all federal, state, local and foreign statutes, regulations, ordinances and similar provisions having the force or effect of law, all judicial and administrative orders and determinations, all contractual obligations and all common law concerning public health and safety, worker health and safety and pollution or protection of the environment, including all such standards of conduct and bases of obligations relating to the presence, use, production, generation, handling, transport, treatment, storage, disposal, distribution, labeling, testing, processing, discharge, release, threatened release, control, or cleanup of any hazardous materials, substances or wastes, chemical substances or mixtures, pesticides, pollutants, contaminants, toxic chemicals, petroleum products or by-products, asbestos, polychlorinated biphenyls (or PCBs), noise or radiation.

  • Environmental Report The environmental audit report or reports with respect to each Mortgaged Property delivered to the related Mortgage Loan Seller in connection with the origination or acquisition of the related Mortgage Loan.

  • Material Environmental Liabilities means Environmental Liabilities exceeding $500,000 in the aggregate.

  • Environmental Claim means any investigation, notice, notice of violation, claim, action, suit, proceeding, demand, abatement order or other order or directive (conditional or otherwise), by any Governmental Authority or any other Person, arising (i) pursuant to or in connection with any actual or alleged violation of any Environmental Law; (ii) in connection with any Hazardous Material or any actual or alleged Hazardous Materials Activity; or (iii) in connection with any actual or alleged damage, injury, threat or harm to health, safety, natural resources or the environment.

  • Environmental Site Assessment means a Phase I environmental report meeting the requirements of the American Society for Testing and Materials, and, if in accordance with customary industry standards a reasonable lender would require it, a Phase II environmental report, each prepared by a licensed third party professional experienced in environmental matters.
