European Data Protection Legislation definition

European Data Protection Legislation means, as applicable: (a) the GDPR; and/or (b) the Federal Data Protection Act of 19 June 0000 (Xxxxxxxxxxx), as amended or replaced.
European Data Protection Legislation means, as applicable: (a) the GDPR; and/or
European Data Protection Legislation means, as applicable, data protection and privacy legislation in force inside the European Economic Area, including the General Data Protection Regulation and any national Laws implementing such legislation.

  • ETQ will only process Personal Data in accordance with such instruction unless European Data Protection Legislation to which ETQ is subject requires other processing of Personal Data by ETQ, in which case ETQ will notify Customer (unless that law prohibits ETQ from doing so on important grounds of public interest).

  • If the storage and/or processing of End User Personal Data occurs within the EEA, involves transfers of End User Personal Data out of the EEA or Switzerland, and the European Data Protection Legislation applies to the transfers of such data, Brain and its Sub-processors will make such transfers in accordance with the SCCs, and make information available to the End User about such transfers upon request.

  • In respect of Transferred Personal Data, Customer agrees that if under European Data Protection Legislation ETQ reasonably requires Customer to enter into EU standard contractual clauses or use another appropriate safeguard offered by ETQ, and reasonably requests that Customer take any action (which may include execution of documents) required to give full effect to such solution, Customer will do so.

  • This Addendum applies only when Personal Data is processed by ETQ and the European Data Protection Legislation applies to such processing.

European Data Protection Legislation means (i) Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data ("GDPR"); and (ii) any applicable data protection laws of the United Kingdom (including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018); as may be amended, superseded or replaced from time to time;
European Data Protection Legislation means the GDPR and other data protection laws of the EU, its Member States, Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway and the United Kingdom, applicable to the processing of Customer Personal Data under the Agreement.
European Data Protection Legislation means, as applicable: (1) any national provisions adopted pursuant to Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Protection of Individuals with Regard to the Processing of Personal Data and on the Free Movement of Such Data (the “Directive”); (2) the Federal Data Protection Act of 10 June 0000 (Xxxxxxxxxxx); (3) Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/E (the “GDPR”); and/or (4) any other data protection or privacy legislation in force in the EEA or Switzerland. The term “Non-European Data Protection Legislation” means any applicable data protection and privacy legislation, guidelines and industry standards, other than the European Data Protection Legislation. The terms “processing”, “processed”, “personal data”, “processor”, and “controller” as used in this Article 5 have the meanings given such terms in the European Data Protection Legislation.
