international organisation means an organisation and its subordinate bodies governed by public international law, or any other body which is set up by, or on the basis of, an agreement between two or more countries.
research organisation means a legal entity established as a non-profit organisation which carries out research or technological development as one of its main objectives;
Union harmonisation legislation means any Union legislation harmonising the conditions for the marketing of products;
Organisation means a legal body which exists separately and distinctly from its members and includes companies, building societies, community benefit societies, local authorities and so on and also for the purposes of these Rules includes unincorporated organisations such as social clubs, branches of political parties or trade unions and other voluntary bodies.
Standards Authority means NERC, and the NERC regional entities with governance over PJM and NYISO, any successor thereof, or any other agency with authority over the Parties regarding standards or criteria to either Party relating to the reliability of Transmission Systems.
technical and organisational security measures means those measures aimed at protecting personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access, in particular where the processing involves the transmission of data over a network, and against all other unlawful forms of processing.
OECD Country means a country which is a member of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
Central Bank UCITS Regulations means the Central Bank (Supervision and Enforcement)
international organization shall have the meanings set forth in Section 7701 of the Code or successor provisions.
Motorcycling Organisation means and includes MA, and the MA members (including the SCBs and affiliated clubs) and where the context so permits, their respective directors, officers, members, servants or agents.

Public or private safety agency means a unit of state or local government, a special purpose district, or a private firm, which provides or has the authority to provide firefighting, police, ambulance, emergency medical services or hazardous materials response.
Clean air standards, as used in this clause, means:
Society Act means the Society Act of the Province of British Columbia from time to time in force and all amendments to it;
previous planning legislation means any planning legislation that is repealed by the Act or the provincial legislation;
European Union means the member nations of the European Union established by the Treaty of European Union, signed at Maastricht on February 2, 1992, which amended the Treaty of Rome establishing the European Community.
Air Standards Manager means the Manager, Human Toxicology and Air Standards Section, Standards Development Branch, or any other person who represents and carries out the duties of the Manager, Human Toxicology and Air Standards Section, Standards Development Branch, as those duties relate to the conditions of this Certificate.
Societies Act means the Societies Act of the Province of British Columbia from time to time in force and all amendments to it;
European Communities means the European Economic Community, the European Coal and Steel Community and the European Atomic Energy Community.
European Data Protection Laws means the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and data protection laws of the European Economic Area (“EEA”) and their member states and the FADP.
Sanctions Authorities means the respective governmental institutions and agencies of any of the United States, the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom, including without limitation, OFAC, the United States Department of State, and Her Majesty's Treasury;
Rail Safety Act means the Rail Safety Act 1998 (WA);
Organ procurement organization means a person designated by the Secretary of the United States Department of Health and Human Services as an organ procurement organization.
Data Protection Legislation means the Data Protection Act 1998 and all applicable laws and regulations relating to processing of personal data and privacy, including where applicable the guidance and codes of practice issued by the Information Commissioner or relevant Government department in relation to such legislation;
relevant planning authority means the district planning authority for the area in which the land to which the relevant provision of this Order applies is situated;
