Excluded Field means genetic analysis using or based upon, in whole or in part, the genotyping of more than one hundred thousand (100,000) putative single nucleotide polymorphisms, such polymorphisms found in three (3) or more chromosomes of the relevant organism.

• Subject to the limitations set forth in this Agreement, Asterias hereby grants to BioTime, and BioTime hereby accepts, a fully-paid exclusive option, exercisable within ninety (90) days of notice from Asterias that the applicable Asterias Patent Rights have become available, to enter into an exclusive license in, to, and under the Asterias Patent Rights in that BioTime/ESI Excluded Field described in Section 1.6 (c) for all purposes during the Term.

• Regeneron shall be entitled to use in the Excluded Field, free of charge, up to two kilograms of purified bulk drug substance manufactured prior to the Second Amendment Effective Date for use in the manufacture of Formulated Bulk VEGF Product (“Purified Bulk Drug Substance”).

More Definitions of Excluded Field

Excluded Field means any and all uses related to the diagnosis and/or treatment in humans of cancerous or Pre-Cancerous diseases and/or conditions, including those related to hematological diseases and/or conditions.

Excluded Field means any products or services to the extent delivered by or through a pharmacy claim processing network.

Excluded Field means any application or use of coated nanocrystalline particles in pharmaceutical preparations intended for use in human or animal contraception, human or animal diagnostic application, human or animal antibiotic therapy, or human or animal hormone therapy and any other field of use not expressly included in Paragraphs 1.4, 1.5, 1.6 and 1.7, above.
