External Validation definition

External Validation means a validation conducted by GFSTC Staff and qualified representatives of local fire departments to ensure that questions in the test instrument are legitimate and can be found in the instructional materials used in the training program for which the students are seeking certification.

Examples of External Validation in a sentence

  • Two key assurance activities are Internal Validation (InVal) and External Validation (ExVal) and these are depicted on the left of the diagram.

  • External Validation – If authoritative data is stored in an external system such as a case management system, that system can be queried to validate or populate index data.

  • The TRA is responsible for the External Validation (ExVal) of the DT.

  • The application for the Facility must be in accordance with the development plan unless material considerations indicate otherwise.

  • Ten hard copies and a soft copy of the revised Programme Submission Document will be sent to the Vice President Academic Affairs and Registrar to support the conduct of the External Validation Panel Review.

Related to External Validation

  • Internal Procedures means in respect of the making of any one or more entries to, changes in or deletions of any one or more entries in the register at any time (including without limitation, original issuance or registration of transfer of ownership) the minimum number of the Warrant Agent’s internal procedures customary at such time for the entry, change or deletion made to be complete under the operating procedures followed at the time by the Warrant Agent, it being understood that neither preparation and issuance shall constitute part of such procedures for any purpose of this definition;

  • Validation as used in WAC 222-20-016, means the department's agreement that a small forest landowner has correctly identified and classified resources, and satisfactorily completed a roads assessment for the geographic area described in Step 1 of a long-term application.
