Faculty means a Faculty of the University;
Faculty Member means any person hired by the college or District to conduct classroom or teaching activities or who is otherwise considered by the college to be a member of faculty.
Cosmetologist means an individual authorized to engage in all branches of cosmetology in a licensed facility.

Certificate of Catholic Practice means a certificate issued by the family’s parish priest (or the priest in charge of the church where the family attends Mass) in the form laid down by the Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales. It will be issued if the priest is satisfied that at least one Catholic parent or carer (along with the child, if he or she is over seven years old) have (except when it was impossible to do so) attended Mass on Sundays and holy days of obligation for at least five years (or, in the case of the child, since the age of seven, if shorter). It will also be issued when the practice has been continuous since being received into the Church if that occurred less than five years ago. It is expected that most Certificates will be issued on the basis of attendance. A Certificate may also be issued by the priest when attendance is interrupted by exceptional circumstances which excuse from the obligation to attend on that occasion or occasions. Adjunct faculty means those nonadministrative instructors, counselors, and librarians who are employed without a continuing contract, whose teaching load does not exceed one-half time for two full semesters or three full quarters per calendar year.
Medical personnel means those persons assigned, by a Party to the conflict, exclusively to the medical purposes enumerated under subparagraph (e) or to the administration of medical units or to the operation or administration of medical transports. Such assignments may be either permanent or temporary. The term includes:
Medical Specialist means any medical practitioner who is vocationally registered by the Medical Council under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 in one of the approved branches of medicine and who is employed in either that branch of medicine or in a similar capacity with minimal oversight.
Specialist medical practitioner means a specialist as defined in section 3 of the Health Insurance Act 1973.
Controlled insurer means a licensed insurer that is either directly or indirectly
Public university means a public university described in section 4, 5, or 6 of article VIII of the state constitution of 1963.
Practitioners in private practice means a practitioner who does not:

teachers of the University means Professors, Readers, Lecturers and such other persons as may be appointed for imparting instruction or conducting research in the University or in any College or Institution maintained by the University and are designated as teachers by the Ordinances;
Medical evaluation means the process of assessing an individual's health status that includes a medical history and a physical examination of an individual conducted by a licensed medical practitioner operating within the scope of his license.
Objective medical evidence means reports of examinations or treatments; medical signs which are anatomical, physiological, or psychological abnormalities that can be observed; psychiatric signs which are medically demonstrable phenomena indicating specific abnormalities of behavior, affect, thought, memory, orientation, or contact with reality; or laboratory findings which are anatomical, physiological, or psychological phenomena that can be shown by medically acceptable laboratory diagnostic techniques, including but not limited to chemical tests, electrocardiograms, electroencephalograms, X-rays, and psychological tests;
Licensed practitioner means an individual who has been trained in the use of personal restraint and seclusion, who is knowledgeable of the risks inherent in the implementation of personal restraint and seclusion, and who is 1 of the following:
Audiologist means an individual who is licensed by a state to practice audiology.
Professional Technologist means a person holding registration as Professional Engineering Technologist in terms of the Engineering Profession Act, 2000.
the Academies means all the schools and educational institutions referred to in Article 4a and operated by the Academy Trust (and “Academy” shall mean any one of those schools or educational institutions);

Medical provider means a medical service provider, a hospital, a medical clinic, or a vendor of medical services.
