Federal Aviation Act means subtitle VII of Title 49 of the United States Code, or any successor provision.
Federal Aviation Administration and "FAA" mean the United States Federal Aviation Administration and any agency or instrumentality of the United States government succeeding to their functions.
Federal safety requirements means applicable provisions of 49 U.S.C. § 30101 et seq. and all
FAA means the United States Federal Aviation Administration.
Data Protection Laws and Regulations means all laws and regulations, including laws and regulations of the European Union, the European Economic Area and their member states, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, applicable to the Processing of Personal Data under the Agreement.
Federal Power Act means the Federal Power Act, as amended, 16 U.S.C. §§ 791a, et seq.
Federal agency means any department, agency, or other instrumentality of the Federal Government, any independent agency or establishment of the Federal Government including any Government corporation, and the Government Printing Office.
Statutes means the Companies Act, the Electronic Transactions Act 1999 of Bermuda, and every other act (as amended from time to time) for the time being in force of the Legislature of Bermuda applying to or affecting the Company, the Memorandum of Association and/or these presents;
Federal-Aid Contract means a contract in which the United States (federal) Government provides financial funding as so designated in the Information for Bidders.
Federal act means the federal laws and regulations that
Anticorruption Laws means the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977, as amended and any other anticorruption or anti-bribery Applicable Law applicable to the Company or any of its Subsidiaries.
Federal Cannabis Laws means any U.S. federal laws, civil, criminal or otherwise, as such relate, either directly or indirectly, to the cultivation, harvesting, production, distribution, sale and possession of cannabis, marijuana or related substances or products containing or relating to the same, including, without limitation, the prohibition on drug trafficking under 21 U.S.C. § 841(a), et seq., the conspiracy statute under 18 U.S.C. § 846, the bar against aiding and abetting the conduct of an offense under 18 U.S.C. § 2, the bar against misprision of a felony (concealing another’s felonious conduct) under 18 U.S.C. § 4, the bar against being an accessory after the fact to criminal conduct under 18 U.S.C. § 3, and federal money laundering statutes under 18 U.S.C. §§ 1956, 1957, and 1960 and the regulations and rules promulgated under any of the foregoing.
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission or "FERC" means the
Data Protection Laws means all laws and regulations that govern the access, use, disclosure, or protection of Personal Data to which a party is subject with respect to the Service or the Software.
EU Data Protection Laws means EU Directive 95/46/EC, as transposed into domestic legislation of each Member State and as amended, replaced or superseded from time to time, including by the GDPR and laws implementing or supplementing the GDPR;
Federal Bankruptcy Code means the Bankruptcy Act of Title 11 of the United States Code, as amended from time to time.
Agency Workers Regulations means the Agency Workers Regulations 2010;
Federal Bankruptcy Act means the Bankruptcy Act or Title 11 of the United States Code.
Deputy Commissioner means the Deputy Commissioner of the DEP Bureau of Customer Services, or designee.
TUPE Regulations means the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006, as amended.
Act of 1997 means the Taxes Consolidation Act 1997;
UK Data Protection Laws means the Data Protection Xxx 0000 (incorporating the UK GDPR) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, and the laws implementing or supplementing them;
Federal Book-Entry Regulations means 31 C.F.R. Part 357 et seq. (Department of Treasury).
European Data Protection Laws means data protection laws applicable in Europe, including: (i) Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation) ("GDPR"); (ii) Directive 2002/58/EC concerning the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector; and (iii) applicable national implementations of (i) and (ii); or (iii) GDPR as it forms parts of the United Kingdom domestic law by virtue of Section 3 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 ("UK GDPR"); and (iv) Swiss Federal Data Protection Act on 19 June 1992 and its Ordinance ("Swiss DPA"); in each case, as may be amended, superseded or replaced.
Public Utilities Act means the Illinois Public Utilities Act, 220 ILCS 5.
Statutory Requirements means all approvals, consents, permits, or licences necessary for the purposes of the Project from the State, any government department, authority, instrumentality or local government authority, and includes, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, all approvals, consents, permits, and licences, for engineering drawings, construction plans, earthworks and structures necessary for the purposes of the Project;
