Home Mortgage Disclosure Act means Home Mortgage Disclosure Act of 1975, as amended.
Fair Housing Act means the Fair Housing Act, as amended.
Housing Act means the United States Housing Act of 1937, as amended, or its successor.
National Housing Act means the National Housing Act (Canada), a federal law that promotes the construction of new houses and the repair and modernization of existing houses. CMHC provides mortgage default insurance under this law.
Truth in Lending Act means the Truth in Lending Act of 1968, as amended.
Fair Credit Reporting Act The Fair Credit Reporting Act of 1970, as amended.
FW Act means the Fair Work Act 2009, as amended from time to time.
Privacy Act means the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Flood Insurance Regulations means (a) the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 as now or hereafter in effect or any successor statute thereto, (b) the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973 as now or hereafter in effect or any successor statute thereto, (c) the National Flood Insurance Reform Act of 1994 (amending 42 USC § 4001, et seq.), as the same may be amended or recodified from time to time, and (d) the Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2004 and any regulations promulgated thereunder.
Affordable Care Act means the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (Pub. L. 111–148), as amended by the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 (Pub. L. 111–152).
Credit reporting agency means a corporation that carries on a credit reporting business.
Equal Credit Opportunity Act means the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, as amended.
PBR Act means the Plant Breeder’s Rights Xxx 0000 (Cth) as amended from time to time.
Community Reinvestment Act means the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977, as amended.
Federal Trade Commission Act means the Federal Trade Commission Act of 1914.
High Cost Home Mortgage Loan as defined in the Massachusetts Predatory Home Loan Practices Act effective November 7, 2004 or (iv) a "High-Cost Home Loan" as defined by the Indiana High Cost Home Loan Law effective January 1, 2005.
Community agency means a person, a public or private nonprofit organization or a firm, partnership or business corporation operated for profit, which:
Rail Safety Act means the Rail Safety Act 1998 (WA);
2012 Act means the Health and Social Care Act 2012;
FOI Act means the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and any subordinate legislation made under that Act or any code issued pursuant to sections 45 or 46 of that Act or any guidance issued by the Information Commissioner;
Federal act means the federal laws and regulations that
the 1981 Act which means the Compulsory Purchase (Vesting Declarations) Act 1981.
POPI Act means the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013;
Employment Practices means any wrongful or unfair dismissal, denial of natural justice, defamation, misleading representation or advertising, unfair contracts, harassment or discrimination (sexual or otherwise) in respect of employment by the Insured.
Community protection zone means the area within eight
Water Act, as used in this clause, means Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. 1251 et seq.).
