This clause applies to a fire alarm system that can be monitored by Fire and Rescue NSW or by a private service provider.
Fire and Rescue NSW, the NSW Police and the NSW Ambulance Service are the first responders, as they are responsible for controlling and containing incidents.
In this clause: private service provider means a person or body that has entered into an agreement that is in force with Fire and Rescue NSW to monitor fire alarm systems.
