Procurement Policy means ADB’s Procurement Policy - Goods, Works, Nonconsulting and Consulting Services (2017, as amended from time to time);
Procurement Policy Board or “PPB” shall mean the board established pursuant to Charter § 311 whose function is to establish comprehensive and consistent procurement policies and rules which have broad application throughout the City.
Procurement Guidelines means the “Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and XXX Credits” published by the Bank in May 2004 and revised in October, 2006.
Procurement Plan means the Recipient’s procurement plan for the Project, dated April 2, 2010, and referred to in paragraph 1.16 of the Procurement Guidelines and paragraph 1.24 of the Consultant Guidelines, as the same shall be updated from time to time in accordance with the provisions of said paragraphs.
Fuel Cost Policy means the document provided by a Market Seller to PJM and the Market Monitoring Unit in accordance with PJM Manual 15 and Operating Agreement, Schedule 2, which documents the Market Seller’s method used to price fuel for calculation of the Market Seller’s cost-based offer(s) for a generation resource.
Risk Management Policy means the Risk Management Policy of the Borrower in effect on the date of this Agreement as amended from time to time.
New Jersey Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP) Manual or “BMP Manual” means the manual maintained by the Department providing, in part, design specifications, removal rates, calculation methods, and soil testing procedures approved by the Department as being capable of contributing to the achievement of the stormwater management standards specified in this chapter. The BMP Manual is periodically amended by the Department as necessary to provide design specifications on additional best management practices and new information on already included practices reflecting the best available current information regarding the particular practice and the Department’s determination as to the ability of that best management practice to contribute to compliance with the standards contained in this chapter. Alternative stormwater management measures, removal rates, or calculation methods may be utilized, subject to any limitations specified in this chapter, provided the design engineer demonstrates to the municipality, in accordance with Section IV.F. of this ordinance and N.J.A.C. 7:8-5.2(g), that the proposed measure and its design will contribute to achievement of the design and performance standards established by this chapter.
Contracting and procuring means the systems for obtaining the supply of goods, materials, manufactured items, services, building and engineering services, works of construction and maintenance and for disposal of surplus and obsolete assets.
Good Industry Practices means the practices that would be adopted by, and the exercise of that degree of care, skill, diligence, prudence and foresight that reasonably would be expected from, a competent contractor in the international oil and gas industry experienced in performing work similar in nature, size, scope and complexity to the Work and under conditions comparable to those applicable to the Work, where such work is subject to, and such contractor is seeking to comply with, the standards and codes specified in the Contract or (to the extent that they are not so specified) such national or international standards and codes as are most applicable in the circumstances, and the applicable Law.
Safeguard Policy Statement or “SPS” means ADB's Safeguard Policy Statement (2009);
SAP Policies means the operational guidelines and policies applied by SAP to provide and support the Cloud Service as incorporated in an Order Form.
Business Continuity Plan means any plan prepared pursuant to clause H5.6, as may be amended from time to time.
Policies and Procedures means the written policies and procedures of the Client in any way related to the Services, including any such policies and procedures contained in the Organic Documents and the Offering Documents.
Support Policy shall have the meaning given to it in the Support Terms (defined below).
Tariff Policy means a Tariff Policy adopted by the Council in terms of Section 74 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000.
FCA Handbook means the FCA Handbook of Rules and Guidance as amended from time to time.
Project Operational Manual means the Project Operational Manual, to be adopted in accordance with Section 6.01 (a) of this Agreement, giving details of guidelines and procedures agreed with the Association for the implementation, supervision, and monitoring and evaluation, of the Project, and the procurement procedures and guidelines for Sub-Projects, as same may be amended from time to time in agreement with the Association, and such term includes any schedules to the Project Operational Manual;
Procurement Regulations means, for purposes of paragraph 85 of the Appendix to the General Conditions, the “World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers”, dated November 2020.
Consensus Policies are those policies established (1) pursuant to the procedure set forth in ICANN’s Bylaws and due process, and (2) covering those topics listed in Section 1.2 of this Specification. The Consensus Policy development process and procedure set forth in ICANN’s Bylaws may be revised from time to time in accordance with the process set forth therein.
Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) means the Government Agency responsible for oversight of public procurement.
Good Industry Practice means standards, practices, methods and procedures conforming to the Law and the degree of skill and care, diligence, prudence and foresight which would reasonably and ordinarily be expected from a skilled and experienced person or body engaged in a similar type of undertaking under the same or similar circumstances.
Environmental and Social Management Plan or “ESMP” means a site-specific environmental and social management plan to be prepared in accordance with the parameters laid down in the ESMF and acceptable to the Association, setting forth a set of mitigation, monitoring, and institutional measures to be taken during the implementation and operation of the Project activities to eliminate adverse environmental and social impacts, offset them, or reduce them to acceptable levels, and including the actions needed to implement these measures.
Best Practices means a term that is often used inter-changeably with “evidence-based 24 practice” and is best defined as an “umbrella” term for three levels of practice, measured in relation to 25 recovery-consistent mental health practices where the recovery process is supported with scientific 26 intervention that best meets the needs of the Client at this time.

EBP means Evidence-Based Practices and refers to the interventions utilized for which 28 there is consistent scientific evidence showing they improved Client outcomes and meets the following 29 criteria: it has been replicated in more than one geographic or practice setting with consistent results; it
Mis-procurement means public procurement in contravention of any provision of Sindh Public Procurement Act, 2010, any rule, regulation, order or instruction made thereunder or any other law in respect thereof, or relating to, public procurement;
Prudent Utility Practices means the practices, methods and standards that are generally accepted internationally from time to time by electric utilities for the purpose of ensuring the safe, efficient and economic design, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of power generation equipment and which practices, methods and standards shall be adjusted as necessary, to take account of: a) operation and maintenance guidelines recommended by the manufacturers of the plant and equipment to be incorporated in the Power Project; b) the requirements of Indian Law; and the physical conditions at the site of the Power Project
Transit-oriented development means infrastructure improvements that are located within 1/2 mile of a transit station or transit-oriented facility that promotes transit ridership or passenger rail use as determined by the board and approved by the municipality in which it is located.
