Fossils and Antiquities definition

Fossils and Antiquities means all fossils and antiquities and structures or other remains or things either of particular geological or of archaeological interest discovered on the Site or Adjacent Areas or in the course of carrying out Off-Site Works.
Fossils and Antiquities means all fossils, articles of value or antiquity and structures or other remains or things of particular geological, historical or archaeological interest discovered on the Site or Adjacent Areas or in the course of carrying out the Operations.

  • The Company shall have no entitlement to any Fossils and Antiquities which may be found on, in or under any Site or in connection with the Operations.

  • Fossils and Antiquities as between the Government and the Concessionaire shall be deemed to be the absolute property of the Government.

  • Aquaculture means the farming of aquatic organisms including fish, molluscs, crustaceans, other aquatic invertebrates and aquatic plants, from seedstock such as eggs, fry, fingerlings and larvae, by intervention in the rearing or growth processes to enhance production such as regular stocking, feeding, or protection from predators;

  • Environmentally Sensitive Material means oil, oil products and any other substance (including any chemical, gas or other hazardous or noxious substance) which is (or is capable of being or becoming) polluting, toxic or hazardous;

  • Food-chain crops means tobacco, crops grown for human consumption, and crops grown for feed for animals whose products are consumed by humans.

  • Wild animal means any mammal, bird, fish, or other creature of a wild nature endowed with sensation and the power of voluntary motion.

"Fissile material" means the fissile nuclides themselves, not material containing fissile nuclides. Unirradiated natural uranium and depleted uranium and natural uranium or depleted uranium, that has been irradiated in thermal reactors only, are not included in this definition. Certain exclusions from fissile material controls are provided in 10 CFR 71.15.

  • Aquifer means a geologic formation, group of formations, or part of a formation capable of yielding a significant amount of groundwater to wells or springs.

  • Wildlife habitat means a surface water of the state used by plants and animals not considered as pathogens, vectors for pathogens or intermediate hosts for pathogens for humans or domesticated livestock and plants.

  • Hydroelectric energy means water used as the sole source of energy to produce electricity.

  • Waste Materials means any Contamination-causing solid, semi-solid, or liquid material discarded, buried, or otherwise present on the Property, and may include sludge, slag, or solid waste materials such as empty containers and demolition debris or materials containing asbestos, lead-based paint, or petroleum or other contaminants.

  • Public resources means water, fish, and wildlife and in addition means capital improvements of the state or its political subdivisions.

  • foreshore , in relation to a port, means the area between the high-water mark and the low-water mark relating to that port;

  • Stormwater management measure means any practice, technology, process, program, or other method intended to control or reduce stormwater runoff and associated pollutants, or to induce or control the infiltration or groundwater recharge of stormwater or to eliminate illicit or illegal non-stormwater discharges into stormwater conveyances.

  • Embryo/fetus means the developing human organism from conception until the time of birth.

  • Mines means those devices defined in Article 2, Paragraphs 1, 4 and 5 of Protocol II annexed to the Convention on Prohibitions and Restrictions on the Use of Certain Conventional Weapons Which May Be Deemed to Be Excessively Injurious or to Have Indiscriminate Effects of 1980.
