Frailty definition

Frailty means a clinical syndrome or state of decline and vulnerability in later life characterized by weakness, fatigue, low energy, slowed walking, decreased physical activity and weight loss; a chronic progressive condition that results in a heightened vulnerability to adverse outcomes that may occur in the face of stressors.
