Fugitive felon definition

Fugitive felon means a person who has been convicted of a felony and who has escaped from confinement or violated the terms of probation or parole for that offense.

Fugitive felon means an individual who is fleeing to avoid prosecution, or custody or confinement after conviction, under the laws of the place from which the individual is fleeing, for a crime or an attempt to commit a crime that is a felony under the laws of the place from which the individual is fleeing or, in the case of New Jersey, a high misdemeanor, regardless of whether the individual has departed from the individual's usual place of residence.

Examples of Fugitive felon in a sentence

• Any violent criminal activity on or near the premises by a tenant, household member, or guest, or any such activity on the premises by any other person under the tenant’s con- trol.(ii) Fugitive felon or parole violator.

• The lease must pro- vide that any criminal activity by a covered person that threatens the health, safety, or right to peaceful en- joyment of the premises by other resi- dents (including PHA management staff residing on the premises) or threatens the health, safety, or right to peaceful enjoyment of their resi- dences by persons residing in the im- mediate vicinity of the premises is grounds for termination of tenancy.(B) Fugitive felon or parole violator.

• Any violent criminal activity on or near the premises by a tenant, household member, or guest, or any such activity on the premises by any other person under the tenant’s control.(ii) Fugitive felon or parole violator.

• Examples include but are not limited to: o Gang activity o Fugitive felon o Identify theft o Sex offender – non-lifetime ▪ If a criminal screening confirms the owner has engaged in other criminal activity, the owner will not be allowed to participate in the HCV Program for twelve (12) months from the earlier of the arrest or charge date on the MSHDA criminal screening.
