Fugitive emission definition

Fugitive emission means an emission to air from the permitted installation that is not controlled by an emission limit imposed by a condition of this Permit.
Fugitive emission means those emissions which could not reasonably pass through a stack, chimney, vent, or other functionally equivalent opening.
Fugitive emission means an emission to air, water or land from the activities which is not controlled by an emission limit.

Examples of Fugitive emission in a sentence

  • Fugitive emission of NMVOCs can be determined by a short but comprehensive set of measurements.

  • Fugitive emission means particulate matter that is not collected by a capture system and is released to the atmosphere at the point of generation.

  • Fugitive emission related to movement of passenger vehicle provided the emissions are not counted for applicability purposes and any required fugitive dust control plan or its equivalent is submitted.30.

  • Fugitive emission sources are monitored by way of the ORR and ETTP ambient air surveil- lance programs.

  • Fugitive emission was observed due to movement of fly ash loaded dumper and other heavy vehicle during the GPCB site visit.12 The company was also required to sprinkle water and ensure regular wetting of ground to curb generation of dust.

More Definitions of Fugitive emission

Fugitive emission means the particulate matter which is not collected by a capture system and is released directly into the atmosphere from an affected facility at a grain elevator.
Fugitive emission means an emission from the Permitted Installation that is not from an emission point listed in Tables 2.2.1.1, 2.2.2.1 of this Permit, excluding emissions of odour and noise specifically controlled under sections 2.2.6 or section 2.9 of this Permit.
Fugitive emission means emissions that could not reasonably pass through a stack, chimney, vent, or other functionally equivalent opening.
Fugitive emission means any emission, not in waste gases, of VOCs into air, soil and water as well as, unless otherwise stated, solvents contained in any product; this includes uncaptured emissions of VOCs released to the outside environment via windows, doors, vents and similar openings. Fugitive emissions may be calculated on the basis of a solvent management plan (see appendix I to the present annex);
Fugitive emission means an emission to air or water (including sewer) from the Permitted Installation which is not controlled by an emission or background concentration limit under conditions 2.2.1.3, 2.2.2.4, 2.2.2.5, 2.2.2.8 or 2.2.2.9 of this Permit.
Fugitive emission means an emission to air from the Permitted Installation which is not controlled by an emission or background concentration limit under conditions 2.1 and 2.2 contained in Part 2 of this Permit.
