Generation Capacity Resource Provider definition

Generation Capacity Resource Provider means a Member that owns, or has the contractual authority to control the output of, a Generation Capacity Resource, that has not transferred such authority to another entity.

  • The Office of the Interconnection shall provide no later than following November 15 written notification to the Generation Capacity Resource Provider of its determination.

  • Capacity Resource Clearing Price means the price calculated for a Capacity Resource that offered and cleared in a Base Residual Auction or Incremental Auction, in accordance with Tariff, Attachment DD, section 5.

  • Contract Capacity has the meaning set forth in Section 3.1(f).

  • Renewable energy resource means a resource that naturally replenishes over a human, not a geological, time frame and that is ultimately derived from solar power, water power, or wind power. Renewable energy resource does not include petroleum, nuclear, natural gas, or coal. A renewable energy resource comes from the sun or from thermal inertia of the earth and minimizes the output of toxic material in the conversion of the energy and includes, but is not limited to, all of the following:
