Global Research and Development Plan definition

Global Research and Development Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 3.2(a).
Global Research and Development Plan shall have the meaning set forth in Section 4.2.1.
Global Research and Development Plan. Global Research and Development Plan shall mean the comprehensive plan for the Research and Development of an R&D Candidate which is created and updated periodically by the JSC in accordance with Section 4.2.1 and designed to generate the preclinical, clinical and regulatory information required for regulatory filings for such R&D Candidate in the Major Market Countries and in such other countries of the Territory where the JSC elects to seek Regulatory Approval for such R&D Candidate.

Examples of Global Research and Development Plan in a sentence

  • The Global Research and Development Plan shall be kept current by the JSC, updated on such schedule as the JSC may determine but not less often than once per calendar year.

  • Within thirty (30) days following its formation, the JSC shall prepare and approve a global research and development plan (the "Global Research and Development Plan").

  • Beginning with the first full calendar year following the Effective Date, on an annual basis (no later than [*]), or more often as the JDC deems appropriate, the JDC shall review, consult with the JMC as appropriate, and, as required, prepare an update and amendment to each then-current Global Research and Development Plan, for approval by the JSC.

  • If both Parties’ JDC representatives agree to conduct such proposed Development, the JDC shall prepare an amendment to the applicable Global Research and Development Plan to include the proposed studies, for approval by the JSC, and the Parties shall have the diligence obligations with respect to such additional studies or indications as provided in Sections 3.9 and 5.

  • Thereafter, on or before October 31 of each year, the JSC shall prepare and approve an Annual Development Plan and Budget addressing the collaborative Screening, Research and Development activities to be undertaken by the Parties during the following calendar year pursuant to this Agreement and the then current Global Research and Development Plan.

  • Within thirty (30) days following its formation, the JSC shall prepare and approve an annual development plan and budget (the "Annual Development Plan and Budget") addressing the collaborative Screening, Research and Development activities to be carried out by the Parties during the remainder of calendar year 1999 pursuant to this Agreement and the Global Research and Development Plan.

  • Unless otherwise specified in a Global Research and Development Plan, each Party shall be responsible and have the final decision-making authority for all Development activities (as and to the extent not prohibited under and subject to Section 2.9) conducted in its own territory (i.e., the Licensed Territory for Servier and the Retained Territory for XOMA), including those portions of global or U.S. or EU clinical trials conducted in such territory and set forth in a Global Research and Development Plan.

  • The Global Research and Development Plan shall also specify the plans and estimated timeline for preparing the necessary Regulatory Materials for obtaining Regulatory Approval in such countries.

  • Once approved by the JSC, an amended Global Research and Development Plan shall become effective and supersede the previous Global Research and Development Plan as of the date of such approval.

  • The Global Research and Development Plan also shall set forth the specific activities to be conducted by each Party and the estimated timeline for Development of the Product in order to obtain the data that the Parties intend will be useful, by both Parties, to obtain Regulatory Approvals of the Product in the U.S. and the EU.

Related to Global Research and Development Plan

  • Research and development means (1) theoretical analysis, exploration, or experimentation; or (2) the extension of investigative findings and theories of a scientific or technical nature into practical application for experimental and demonstration purposes, including the experimental production and testing of models, devices, equipment, materials, and processes. Research and development does not include the internal or external administration of radiation or radioactive material to human beings.

  • Global Development Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 3.1.

  • Research and development facility means an establishment engaged in laboratory, scientific, or experimental testing and development related to new products, new uses for existing products, or improving existing products. The term does not include an establishment engaged in efficiency surveys, management studies, consumer surveys, economic surveys, advertising, promotion, banking, or research in connection with literary, historical, or similar projects.

  • Commercial Development Plan means the written commercialization plan attached as Appendix E.

  • Initial Development Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 3.2(b).

  • spatial development framework means the Mhlontlo Municipal Spatial Development Framework prepared and adopted in terms of sections 20 and 21 of the Act and Chapter 2 of this By-Law;

  • Clinical Development means the conduct of clinical trials in humans to assess the dosing, safety and/or efficacy of the Product, including but not limited to Phase I Clinical Trials, Phase II Clinical Trials, Phase Ill Clinical Trials and Phase IV Clinical Trials.

  • Commercial Development means any development on private land that is not heavy industrial or residential. The category includes, but is not limited to: hospitals, laboratories and other medical facilities, educational institutions, recreational facilities, plant nurseries, car wash facilities, mini-malls and other business complexes, shopping malls, hotels, office buildings, public warehouses and other light industrial complexes.

  • Public research university means Rutgers, The State University

  • site development plan means a dimensioned plan drawn to scale that indicates details of the proposed land development, including the site layout, positioning of buildings and structures, property access, building designs and landscaping;

  • land development application means the application for a land development permit on a form provided by [local jurisdiction] along with the supporting documentation required in Section [Y]-10(a).

  • Michigan economic development corporation means the public body corporate created under section 28 of article VII of the state constitution of 1963 and the urban cooperation act of 1967, 1967 (Ex Sess) PA 7, MCL 124.501 to 124.512, by a contractual interlocal agreement effective April 5, 1999, as amended, between local participating economic development corporations formed under the economic development corporations act, 1974 PA 338, MCL 125.1601 to 125.1636, and the Michigan strategic fund. If the Michigan economic development corporation is unable for any reason to perform its duties under this act, those duties may be exercised by the Michigan strategic fund.

  • municipal spatial development framework means a municipal spatial development framework adopted by the Municipality in terms of Chapter 5 of the Municipal Systems Act;

  • Transit-oriented development means infrastructure improvements that are located within 1/2 mile of a transit station or transit-oriented facility that promotes transit ridership or passenger rail use as determined by the board and approved by the municipality in which it is located.

  • Integrated Development Plan means a plan formulated and approved as envisaged in Section 25 of the Municipal Systems Act 2000, as amended.

  • scientific research means any activity in the field of natural or applied science for the extension of knowledge;

  • Planned development means a real property development other than a community apartment project, a condominium project, or a stock cooperative, having either or both of the following features:

  • Commercialization Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 6.2.

  • industrial research means the planned research or critical investigation aimed at the acquisition of new knowledge and skills for developing new products, processes or services or for bringing about a significant improvement in existing products, processes or services. It comprises the creation of components parts of complex systems, and may include the construction of prototypes in a laboratory environment or in an environment with simulated interfaces to existing systems as well as of pilot lines, when necessary for the industrial research and notably for generic technology validation;

  • land development area means an erf or the land which is delineated in an application submitted in terms of this By-law or any other legislation governing the change in land use and “land area” has a similar meaning;

  • Economic development incentive means a financial incentive,

  • Social development company means a company whose primary purpose in Sudan is to provide humanitarian goods or services, including medicine or medical equipment, agricultural supplies or infrastructure, educational opportunities, journalism-related activities, information or information materials, spiritual-related activities, services of a purely clerical or reporting nature, food, clothing, or general consumer goods that are unrelated to oil-related activities, mineral extraction activities, or power production activities.

  • Development Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.

  • Redevelopment Plan means the “Lincoln Center Redevelopment Plan” passed, adopted and approved by the City pursuant to the Resolution, and shall include any amendment of said Redevelopment Plan heretofore or hereafter made by the City pursuant to law.

  • Collaboration Technology means all Collaboration Patents and Collaboration Know-How.

  • Information Technology Resources means agency budgetary resources, personnel, equipment, facilities, or services that are primarily used in the management, operation, acquisition, disposition, and transformation, or other activity related to the lifecycle of information technology; acquisitions or interagency agreements that include information technology and the services or equipment provided by such acquisitions or interagency agreements; but does not include grants to third parties which establish or support information technology not operated directly by the Federal Government.
