Commercial Development definition

Commercial Development means any development on private land that is not heavy industrial or residential. The category includes, but is not limited to: hospitals, laboratories and other medical facilities, educational institutions, recreational facilities, plant nurseries, car wash facilities, mini-malls and other business complexes, shopping malls, hotels, office buildings, public warehouses and other light industrial complexes.
Commercial Development means the development, construction, operation and maintenance of the Assets and the Project Utilities by the Developer on the Site;
Commercial Development means development that contains a commercial land use district of the City of Calgary Land Use Bylaw 1P2007, as amended and replaced from time to time, and may contain an industrial land use district but does not contain a residential land use district;

Examples of Commercial Development in a sentence

  • The Parties acknowledge and agree that the Residential Development and Commercial Development will follow separate development timelines and that submittals for each may be made at separate times.

  • The Owners' Committee shall consist of nine (9) members of which eight (8) members shall be elected by the Owners of the Residential Development and one (1) member by the Owner(s) of the Commercial Development, or of such number of members as the Owners may from time to time by resolution at a meeting of the Owners decide.

  • Unless earlier terminated as provided in this Agreement, this Agreement shall terminate for the Residential Development on the later of (i) ten (10) years from the Effective Date or (ii) issuance of the final certificate of occupancy for the final structure in the Residential Development; for the Commercial Development on the later of (i) ten (10) years from the Effective Date or (ii) issuance of the final certificate of occupancy for the final structure in the Commercial Development.

  • Each of the Residential Development and Commercial Development are entitled to the same timing as described above.


More Definitions of Commercial Development

Commercial Development has the meaning ascribed thereto in the Commercial Property Regulations;
Commercial Development means any Assessor's Parcel of Developed Property which is not Residential Property.

Commercial Development means any development other than residential development. It includes multiple family, retail, wholesale, commercial, office, industrial, church, etc., development.
