Government Contract means any Contract between, on the one hand, the Company or any of the Subsidiaries and, on the other hand: (i) the United States government or any other Governmental Authority, (ii) any prime contractor to the United States government or any other Governmental Authority or (iii) any subcontractor with respect to any Contract described in clauses (i) or (ii).
Government Contracts has the meaning set forth in Section 3.09(a)(viii).
Government Subcontract means each contract between the Issuer or any of its Subsidiaries and any prime contractor or upper-tier subcontractor relating to a contract between such Person and any governmental entity, and each Bid with respect to Government Subcontracts.
Government Bid means any quotation, bid or proposal by the Company or any of its Subsidiaries that, if accepted or awarded, would result in a Government Contract.
Covered Government support contractor means a contractor (other than a litigation support contractor covered by 252.204-7014) under a contract, the primary purpose of which is to furnish independent and impartial advice or technical assistance directly to the Government in support of the Government’s management and oversight of a program or effort (rather than to directly furnish an end item or service to accomplish a program or effort), provided that the contractor—
Government agreement has the meaning given in the Government Agreements Xxx 0000 (WA);
Governmental contract means a contract awarded by a governmental entity for general construction, an improvement, a service, or a public works project for a purchase of supplies, materials, or equipment. The term includes a contract to obtain a professional or consulting service subject to Government Code, Chapter 2254.
Government List means any of (i) the two lists maintained by the United States Department of Commerce (Denied Persons and Entities), (ii) the list maintained by the United States Department of Treasury (Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons), and (iii) the two lists maintained by the United States Department of State (Terrorist Organizations and Debarred Parties).
Contractor’s Proposal means the proposal submitted by the Contractor with the Tender, as modified and accepted by the Employer and included in the Contract. Such documents may include the Contractor’s preliminary design.
Government Body means any domestic or foreign federal, state, municipal or other governmental department, commission, board, bureau, agency or instrumentality, or other body exercising or entitled to exercise any administrative, executive, judicial, legislative, police, regulatory or taxing authority or power of any nature.
Government company means any company in which not less than fifty-one per cent. of the paid-up share capital is held by the Central Government, or by any State Government or Governments, or partly by the Central Government and partly by one or more State Governments, and includes a company which is a subsidiary company of such a Government company;
government procurement means the process by which a government obtains the use of or acquires goods or services, or any combination thereof, for governmental purposes and not with a view to commercial sale or resale, or use in the production or supply of goods or services for commercial sale or resale;
Government Programs means (i) the Medicare and Medicaid Programs, (ii) the United States Department of Defense Civilian Health Program for Uniformed Services and (iii) other similar foreign or domestic federal, state or local reimbursement or governmental health care programs.
public works contract means any agreement between any individual, firm or corporation and the State or any political subdivision of the State other than a municipality for construction, rehabilitation, conversion, extension, demolition or repair of a public building, highway or other changes or improvements in real property, or which is financed in whole or in part by the State, including, but not limited to, matching expenditures, grants, loans, insurance or guarantees.
Government Lists means, collectively, (i) the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons Lists maintained by OFAC, (ii) any other list of terrorists, terrorist organizations or narcotics traffickers maintained pursuant to any of the Rules and Regulations of OFAC, and (iii) any similar lists maintained by the United States Department of State, the United States Department of Commerce or any other governmental authority or pursuant to any Executive Order.
Governmental aggregator means one or more units of local
Government aggregator means any government entity subject
Bidder/Contractor means the interested Firm/ Company/ Supplier/ Distributors that may provide or provides related Equipment/Services to any of the public/private sector organization under the contract and have registered for the relevant business thereof.
Project Proposal has the meaning set forth in Section 2.2(b).
Government school means a school established under section 5 of the Act, for the purpose of providing courses of instruction in pre-school, primary or secondary education.
Federal contract information means information, not intended for public release, that is provided by or generated for the Government under a contract to develop or deliver a product or service to the Government, but not including information provided by the Government to the public (such as on public Web sites) or simple transactional information, such as necessary to process payments.
Government Order means any administrative decision or award, decree, injunction, judgment, order, quasi-judicial decision or award, ruling or writ of any arbitrator, mediator, tribunal, administrative agency or Government Authority.
Central Contracts and Legal Services means the DSHS central headquarters contracting office, or successor section or office.
Government of Canada Yield on any date means the yield to maturity on such date (assuming semi-annual compounding) of a Canadian dollar denominated non-callable Government of Canada bond with a term to maturity of five years as quoted as of 10:00 a.m. (Toronto time) on such date and that appears on the Bloomberg Screen GCAN5YR <Index> Page on such date; provided that if such rate does not appear on the Bloomberg Screen GCAN5YR <Index> Page on such date, then the Government of Canada Yield shall mean the arithmetic average of the yields quoted to the Corporation by two registered Canadian investment dealers selected by the Corporation as being the annual yield to maturity on such date, compounded semi-annually, that a non-callable Government of Canada bond would carry if issued, in Canadian dollars, at 100% of its principal amount on such date with a term to maturity of five years.
Contracting Government means any Government which has deposited an instrument of ratification or has given notice of adherence to this Convention.
Training Contract means an agreement signed by the employer and the Apprentice or Trainee (and a parent or guardian if applicable), in accordance with the Act and Regulatory requirements.
