Grave Offence definition

Grave Offence means offences of such nature that it materially affects the reputation, business or operations adversely or outrages the moral sense of the community and such other offences which may be considered by DIPAM as grave on case to case basis after considering the facts and relevant legal principles.
Grave Offence means an offence punishable on conviction by a fine exceeding the maximum of Level 11 on the standard scale;

Examples of Grave Offence in a sentence

  • Grave Offence – offense that directly impede the satisfactory delivery of the service or scope of work according to standards and requirements set forth in this Terms of Reference.

  • With regards to Serious Offences and Grave Offences, the period of suspension shall not exceed 3 (three) years.h) ExpulsionA recommendation for the expulsion of a PDM member on the grounds of a Grave Offence lies within the authority and power of the Disciplinary Committee, while the power to execute expulsions and thereby terminate PDM membership rests with the National Executive Committee.

  • Violent offense means a violent offense as defined in RCW 9.94A.030;

  • Most serious offense means any of the following felonies

  • Offense means a felony, gross misdemeanor, or crime of moral turpitude.

  • Waterborne disease outbreak means the significant occurrence of an acute infectious illness, epidemiologically associated with the ingestion of water from a public water system which is deficient in treatment, as determined by the Division.

  • Nonviolent offense means an offense which is not a violent

  • disciplinary offence means an Indictable Offence and/or offences described as a Disciplinary Offence in paragraphs 5.3, 7.7, 9.2 and 11.5 of this Board Membership and Conduct Policy

  • Intimidating, threatening, abusive, or harming conduct means, but is not limited to, conduct that does the following:

  • Sex offender means a person who:

  • Moral turpitude means conduct that is wrong in itself even if no statute were to prohibit the conduct; and

  • Sexually violent offense means an offense for which a conviction has been entered for any of the following indictable offenses:

  • Predicate offence means any offence as a result of which proceeds have been generated that may become the subject of an offence as defined in article 23 of this Convention;

  • Alcohol Use Disorder means a disease that is characterized by a pattern of pathological use of alcohol with repeated attempts to control its use, and with negative consequences in at least one of the following areas of life: medical, legal, financial, or psycho-social; or

  • Child-resistant packaging means packaging that is designed or constructed to be significantly difficult for children under five years of age to open or obtain a toxic or harmful amount of the substance in the container within a reasonable time and not difficult for normal adults to use properly, but does not mean packaging that all children under five years of age cannot open or obtain a toxic or harmful amount of the substance in the container within a reasonable time.
